road wins chicago carolina and buffalo (neutral) hardly elite teams. losses to arizona detroit miami and st louis. just sayin !! 2 of washingtons 3 home defeats were to play off teams (cincy atlanta) just sayin !!

Seattle for way too much. :)
Books opened it at a PK, they didn't favor anyone.  When/if this line goes to 3 or more, sharps will buy back on WASH and hope for a middle.  The early $$ on Seattle means absolutely nothing.

take out the 50 pt game at buffalo seattle averaging 17 pts per game on the road even including it averaging 21

Why would you take out the Buffalo game though? Did the game not take place or something?

Seattle didn't play in their own stadium and had to travel far to play the game so I don't want to hear "it wasn't a real road game."

because scoring 50 on the road is an anomaly a one off and not a true reflection compared to what they did in their other 7 games on the road. i think you will see i also included an average including that game. and can you point out where i said buffalo wasnt a real road game.

You have little clue on line movement in my book ..... There was no fake move here 

Washington was on Nat. TV and beat cowgirls.

Books could not even muster to put them as a Fav. And obviously cringed when they got pounded with Seattle money 

Your theory on sharps buying back at 3 is non-sense ..... They will buy back at 3 only to try and push it back down too 2 to double pound it there lol 

Griffin not 100% 

Sharps knew it 

Now the book has it hanging at 3 on my book fishing for any fish they can get on the hook

Public is really high on Seattle right now. I don't think I'd have the guts to lay a FG with them on the road against RG3.

uhhhh. NOOOOOOO and I am a huge Seahawks fan but look at their H/A splits. People WAY overreacting to Sunday night home demolish of SF

  • Home (8-0): 31 points, 11 points allowed, 355 yards gained, 280 yards allowed
  • Road (3-5): 21 points, 19 points allowed, 342 yards gained, 324 yards allowed

 Those #'s are pretty damn good considering 5 of their first 8 games were roadies with a rookie qb..........& Seattle played the toughest schedule of any team in the playoffs.

 Not sure what point you're trying to make.

Seattle is 6 points better than Washington on a neutral field, I make the HFA for the Redskins about 9 points, so Washington by 3.

Really?  This is NFL.  Not college.  It is not ez to score 50 on any team. I would say take out all the first 3 road games.  Carrol wants to be conservative and rely on defense in those games.   Since the Chi game, Sea opens up for Wilson so they are that much more efficient.  Again SEA win this game.  Pound it.

fwiw i made the line washington -1.5 as i thought the seahawks would be a small fav on a neutral ground. if i can get washington +3 -110 then i will have to pull the trigger. seattle doesnt scare me as a road fav.

Why do you think it's important who the books favor ?

Home dogs have a very strong ATS record in the NFL Playoffs, all those games the books favored the road team and lost.

You certainly need to do more homework...................................

That has nothing to do with anything, well it does, but it's telling you to back the Skins..........................................................

Seattle        35.7
Washington 19.3
