Seems to me, keeping things simple...falcons are flat lining/ plateauing and possibly regressing while the saints are hot! They were competitive on Sunday and IMO only becusenofna 4 SD event did SF get the W! When is the first/last breezes threw 2 pick 6s in the same game!?!?
Falls are very suspect at home this year...see the panthers and raiders games! As of late, win pt differential has been slim...1-6 6'pt victories and the don't talk to me about the eagles beat down. Impressive yes, statement yes but come one eagles couldn't beat auburn!!!
Gimme the +3.5 or 4 at some books here in Vegas.  May even grow as the pigeons love the falcs!!! Don't believe find someone you know that's totally removed from the nflmand betting and ask them who the would bet..... Just my 2 cents,

the saints are hot????! they are coming off a double digit loss at home, how can you say they are hot?! i will be on them as well but only because they always beat the falcons not because they are "hot"

Please go look their ats record the last weeks and their s/u the last 8.  Outside of the Denver and pats no one is ats better! Also, the loss vs was a buzz saw! And like said, last week was a 4 standard deviation event with Bree's throwing 2tds.  This is why I said they are hot

i dont care what their ATS in the last 6 weeks, they are not coming in hot when they lost by double digits at home.. since when does a team get blown out and are considered being hot

  Classic "last game" perspective that kicks bettors butts. Somewhere between the big picture and the most recent one usually gives us a clearer picture of events to come. I like the ats comparison the OP  mentioned.  Last six I'd have to say the Pats, Broncos, and Saints are the hottest teams in the league. I can't believe a couple others, Browns and Niners, aren't close behind.

Maybe I got this one wrong, but I thought -3.5 was too much for Atlanta to give. Maybe -1 Atlanta sounds more reasonable. Its just my personal perception, but I have no strong lean on this game. Is tonight's game nationally televised or just on the NFL network?

Atlanta's secondary is banged up... darren sporles is back, he didnt play the last time these 2 teams met... saints bus got egged leaving the airport last night... saints & over for me...

brady - game is on the NFL network.  its strange that you say pickem or -1.  imo this game is very close to a coin flip, with the saints getting the edge just based on past success.  in sports, especially NFL psyche is a HUGE component and the saints clearly have the falcons # and more importantly are in the HEADS of the falcon players!

Homefield is generally three points in the NFL, so giving a neutral field setting if it were then this is a pick em or half point game.  Is this reasonable ?  Or is this fishy? Given that NO already has beaten them once and this is revenge, 3.5 is a reasonable spread.  Motivational factors to consider is NO needs this game more, Atl. Wants revenge.  Injuries, suspensions?  Factor this in and maybe tilt towards NO.  QB factor, Drew Brees to me.  Running game is Falcons.  WRs probably even steven.  TE, NO big!  Defense, I go with Atlanta, small.
Where the money is going, I do not know.

ManU - i am leaning very heavily to NO, just wiating to see if it moves off 3.5 some books here in LV are hanging 4.  Also, analyzing the the total, this is the highest TNF total all year and is flashing 56 @ some books.  Generally, short weeks = simple playbooks and schemes, but these 2 teams QBs love to fire the deep ball.  not sure yet if i play the total.

Atlanta Falcons ML (-184).  I don't know how much Atlanta will win by but I know this team very well and this week I didn't hear any chirping or trash talking and they will be focused for the Saints.  Last time the Falcons played the Saints they were without their best defensive player/run stopper Sean Weatherspoon.  I don't see the Saints running on the Falcons like they did the first time they met.

What do you guys think about the alternative spread of saints +7.5 and just paying the extra juice?I just have a hard time believing the falcons are gunna beat them by more than a touchdown if they beat them at all.Falcons can lose 3 games in a row and still lead this division

   I keep reading the perception that the Saints ran all over the Falcons last game.  29 carries for 148 yards, but one of those carries was a 56 yard TD by Ivory. Pierre had 5 carries for 10 yards and in the 28 other carries they averaged less than  3.3 yards per carry.  Lots of reasons to back either team tonight, but to think the Saints will win by running the ball is absurd. This game rests squarely on the shoulders of Brees and his receivers, and the Saints porous D to keep the Falcons out of the end zone.  BOL
