Got plenty of insightful thoughts when doing this last week so let's do it again. Will be making a play on this game this weekend. What's everyone's opinion?

Do the Giants neutralize a running QB again like they did to Cam Newton or do the Redskins put up a fight?

Redskins &#x2B;7 is my play of the week.."Ok probably not a good idea to fade a &#xD;&#xA;Giants team on fire, but I feel RG3 keeps this close. Giants coming off a&#xD;&#xA; HUGE emotional win on the west coast. I expect a letdown and a 3 point &#xD;&#xA;game either way.."RG3 like Cam Newton last year is a Gamblers hero. Back door covers, amazing comebacks. The guy is a total stud. Very hard for Giants AT THIS STAGE OF THE SEASON to get up that emotionally charged for two games in a row. I know the Redskins D is crap, but so was the Giants D before last week. It could end up a shootout but either way I am on RG3. Even if I am 28 points down, this guy will keep fighting for me..

Washington getting points has been

, I don't like the fact that skins swept them last year but giving 7 against this live dog is not a safe bet imo. I think RG3 has alot better pocket presence compared to cam or vick. If giants contain his legs then RG3 can hurt them with his arm where giants weakness lies.

If the rushes don't get to RG3 watch out. He can put 27 on giants. I am currently leaning over in this game. Both qbs can sling it.

Giants won outright as dogs, on the road. They come home and are favored, in a divisional game. Good spot to take the points.

RG3 is one of those special players who can put a game on his back and pull it out of the fire.  Part of it is his own rookie passion.  He hasn&#x27;t been in the league long enough to get cynical.  Heck VY used to do the same thing and had the Titans cashing when he first became a starter.  (Same with Sanchez his rookie year).The other part of it is that RG3 is a unique talent that DCs have not yet learned to scheme against.  They have very little NFL film to go on to figure out his tendencies.  (And college film is useless in the NFL).  Same story with Cam last year.  RG3 will have that golden bubble around him through the end of the year.  Next year might not be so kind to him though, esp. if he wins ROTY.I would lean Wash in a close game. But the outlier here is Wash SWEPT NY last year.  How does that play into the situation?  NY has pretty much had 2 blowout Ws in a row.  We just saw how that worked out for SF.

Giants can win and cover in a shoot out type of game or in a low scoring war like last week; scary team to fade right now IMO.

Not sure how really emotional last weeks win was for the Giants, it was a bigger game for San Fran, Giants just do what they do; spot favors Skins slightly. Pass

If history is an indicator of anything...Wash/NYG 0 of 11 last games in NY have exceeded 40 pts s 00. Avg total 31 pts.

Tough to fade NY because of being 0-2 in division already

i like the Giants on the road as dogs more than home favs, tough division game, take the points i guess. RG3 should be able to avoid the pass rush.

this game kind of reminds me of the that Seattle game last year, Giants were big favs @ home and lost s.u.

take the points or stay away from this one i figure.

I don&#x27;t think the Giants take care of business in this one and the Skins keep fighting to get above .500...This might be one of those games you have forget statistics, matchups, and all that.

I like the Skins getting points. Last year the NYG were a 9-7 team, and the public will always over-react to one week. Yes, they beat down the mighty Niners, but Washington is always a tough matchup, especially now that they have RG3. Should be a close game.

Nuggins has this one figured out, over is the play here IMO...  If I had to take a side, it would be The Football Giants at home needing a divisional win.  Keeping in mind I don&#x27;t think the Skins D is as good as it was at the beggining of the year and for them skins to win they must score in bunches.  RGIII will do a great job of staying in the game, just not sure he keeps it inside of 6.  GL guys.  I love reading through this type of thread, very valuable!!

Metalbillhow does this game remind u of seattle last season? that statement makes no sense. We are 0-2 in the division right now and cant afford a loss here. Skins are ranked 32nd against the pass and we are one of the best passing teams in the league. i see eli going for 300 plus here and bradshaw continuing last 2 weeks roll and going for another 100 again. Giants oline buries skins d line and giants win 31-17
