This is a rare writeup/opinion for me as I normally dont have time or the words for it. I figured I would take a stab at it today.
First off the 2 teams are matched up pretty evenly to me, I think it will come down to how well the Chargers defense limits Manning from making big plays. The motivation is definitely there for the Chargers, we have 2 AFC rivals facing off tonite with the Chargers in the race for 1st place in the division
- Den ranks 5th in passing, 17th in
rushing yards
- Chargers rank in the top 5 in stopping
the run which could open some chances
to put more pressure on Manning
Manning is definitely the truth, but is this Den team chemistry there all together, especially on the road????
I know, SD ranks 20th on the pass defense, but Im banking on SD being able to get on Mannings top. Pressure can make a hell of a difference. I know, Manning this, Manning that, Ill rock with the home team on this one and the over.
