Actually I find myself laughing at all those owners and gms that signed them to those rediculous contracts. I don't blame the players one bit. It is a free market after all.

deangelo williams career average of 5.1 yards a carry i believe is first or 2nd all time in the NFL. per minimum 500 attempts
the panthers have 2 amazing running backs and never use em right. or they seem to use each one just enough so neither one can get into a groove
Deangelo today vs Seattle.... 6 carries.... 6 yards.... Cant do shit if they dont give him or J Stew the damn ball... have no idea what the coaches are thinkin

so wait, Chris Johnson is overpaid, but Deangelo isn't?
Williams might be misused a little, but he had one great year......he has had injury issues, and no matter what, right now he is way overpaid
every single year in the league, deangelo has averages ATLEAST 4.1 yards per carry
meanwhile chris johnson had only 4 touchdowns last year, zero so far this year, and 4 out of 5 games this year he hasnt even gotten 25 yards. this is all since signing the contract he held out for

being able to play every game should count for something....and Johnson's career avg is 4.8...........he had 4 really good years.....I think it's a tad too early to call him overpaid.......but whatever
the problem I have is calling him overpaid, and at the same time saying Williams isn't

Maybe DeAngelo Williams is going to end up as Cam's lead blocker?

he played awesome . got paid. now he blows. that makes him overpaid. i wouldnt pay a doctor a huge salary if he used to be an amazing surgeon but then forgot everything he knew. this is a shitty year for deangelo but he is still getting twice the yards as johnson on half the carries
