Not a healthy start to Ncaaf,  This will turn around soon,  I usually hit between 60-65% on all football so I am not too worried,  just got to stick with the system, it has not failed me yet.

My POW is also a play on my favorite team.  Keeping Bias aside I would also reflect that I would love this play just the same had I not been a Boys fan all my life.  IMO,  I f I am a Dallas Cowboy I have had this Mother-fucking game circled with my own blood since the Schedule came out.  This team embarrassed us twice last year and cost us a shot at the playoffs.  We were beating the Gaints by 12 points with 4 minutes left in the 4th qtr only to have a quick turn over score and a 3 n out on the next drive, and again giving up another TD.  That day will forver live in my mind as a fan, so I am sure as a Dallas Cowboy player it should be festering like a splinter that just wont come out, and fester all year until they meet again.  Well, now it's Big D's chance at redemption.  This game IMO is the biggest game of the year for Dallas, as this game will mark where this team is at emotionally physically and mentally for 4 qtrs.  I say they are ready, after the first game in PS against the Raiders Dallas's first team was putting up points at will, and are defense was creating turn-over's with our new stud CB Brandon Carr.  Are defense is revamped, and finally in Coach Ryan's 2nd year and I feel with the mini-camps and full off season Dallas is now purged to have a great year.  But it all starts with the Giants here, and no doubt Dallas's hands will be full.  As I said how this team plays will mark a pivotal time in Dallas's year this year for how it will dictate the rest of their year.  Dallas knows how important this game is, and I am banking on them to get this done.  We will see how much heart this team has, and my money says they got it right this time, and will show in how they play in this game and will ultimatley make or break their entire year.  Dallas wins a big game here.

I'm with ya brother. And I backed the gmen in every game last year aside from 49ers game since they lost to Washington. Not that anyone cares but to me it says a lot to now back Dallas.

Yeah I'm on it too.  But what has me concerned is the healthy Giants D-Line, they are phenomenal and they are going against a revamped Offensive Line w/Dallas.

I like the Boys plus the points myself. However their OL issues can not be overlooked. I still think they have what it takes to cover tho and even possibly win. The thing is that the GIants always sack the hell outta Romo. With those OL issues its gonna be imparitive that they give Tony the time to throw. I wanna take the points but I cant ignore OL issues

razor....been reading your posts and really appreciate your NCAAF posts, but i gotta disagree with your side on tony person.  giants' 3 headed monster (jpp,tuck,osi) will be even more of a factor when they go against dallas' current o-line.  manning seems to deliver in big games and dal/nyg is about as big as it comes for the season opener, because of the drama last year: where giants killed dallas' playoff hopes.  as important as this game is for the cowboys, i think giants will win this game and actually have a winning record through the 1st half of the season.

will be on the giants 1st .5, 2nd .5 (doesn't even matter what the score is @ halftime; best bet between the 3), and whole game......but gluck with the new season

 agree the O-line is a concern as well as our leader/stud TE Jason Witten.  So others will have to step up, and I believe we have enough leaders and winners on this team to get it done.  

 

bro on a serious note .. did you actually write this .... all this team ever does is prove they dont have no leader or winners on this team ... not once have they ever proven to show any of this constantly choking in big games ... also what other team has a baby sister for their top reciever or one of ..... this team lacks lot of leadership .. what they do have is alot of hype

As excited as I am that football is finally back, I am not touching this game.  And this definitely takes a lot of discipline.  I am a die hard Cowboys fan, but am honestly not too excited and not expecting much from this group this year. 

I'm most concerned with the offense.  Cowboys are injured like crazy...Witten, Austin, Dez, guys on the O line being switched around, it's really a mess.  I know Austin and Dez will most likely play but really I don't know what to expect from them.  Austin has disappeared from this offense, who knows what he can really do, Dez can be a stud but needs to get on the same page with Romo....and if Witten is out that is a big problem.  He's Romo's main target/bail out guy.  I expect Murray to be Romo's security blanket vs the giants, so I'd expect a lot of dump offs to try and beat the rush of the Giants D line. 

I highly doubt the boys will be able to run the ball tonight.  Their only shot is to play lockdown D, which with the talent they have on that side of the ball is very possible.  But with Ratliff being out, that leaves a HUGE hole in the D line.  Dallas needs to loosen up the giants d with quick short passes and then as the game progresses, go deep and exploit the weak secondary of the giants. 

If the cowboys weren't missing Witten and Ratliff, I'd say they have a chance at this game.  Unfortunately, I think the giants are going to take this game by 10+.  That is why I am just going to root for my boys and lay off this game.

how come no one has mentioned how bad dallas' o-line is?

I love how no one is talking about that shitty, banged up Giants secondary.  They are deep into that CB depth chart and that won't be good, considering Romo has a career 101.6 QB rating against the Giants (going 5-7 in the process).  Romo always has a shitty line, so the Giants front seven chasing him is nothing new.
