#1 Posted: 8/9/2012 1:57:05 AM I think i'd feel more comfortable betting on a spring training game. These preseason games seem like such a crap shoot. |

#4 Posted: 8/9/2012 2:24:14 AM I made a little bit last season betting pre season. There were actually some very adept cappers in here that gave very info on the coaches that give a garbage about preseason games. |

#5 Posted: 8/9/2012 2:29:36 AM darn, my previous post sucked. That's what I get for attempting to multitask....stupid porn.
Seriously though there were some good cappers in here that had quality stats and info on coaches that took preseason semi-seriously and others that consistently lost and never played starters or even second stringers all that much.
I remember fading Indy quite a bit but that will be different now. If you back track some info on coaches/teams you could probably find a pattern of who to bet on or fade in preseason. |

#8 Posted: 8/9/2012 2:53:48 AM I feel like the Jets could be a good team to bet on with Tebow busting his behind when Mark is done with his lone drive |

#11 Posted: 8/9/2012 9:41:12 AM Preseason betting is for the impatient and reckless.
I don't know how you can cap preseason games when players don't care; or when you really can't assess how great a player is, because it's his first time playing in a "real" game.
Just wait until the regular season. Preferably week 2, so you have some kind of idea of how teams will perform. |

#12 Posted: 8/9/2012 10:02:04 AM A game is a game. Bets will always be made, lost & won. I do invest alot during preseason, I just pick & choose my spots. Fading the Chiefs for the past 2 years has worked well for me.

#14 Posted: 8/9/2012 10:18:29 AM The same guys who are saying how can you bet preseason games are the same guys who lose 1000's in the regular season, If preseason games are that hard to cap then that must mean you're all hitting 85 % + on your regular season bets right? Typical degenerate mentality, Nothing but excuses.
Preseason is exactly the same as betting on the regular season, If you are not a bum and actually do some homework you will win more than you lose, Same applies to the regular season, If you dont do your research you will get burned.
Here is what you have to research before you make a preseason bet on a side, How long will team a's starting QB get?? Does team a have a QB competition on their hands?? Is team a's coach a guy who likes to win preseason games?? (check ats records), Is there any bad blood between the two teams and if there is any remote revenge angle to be in play for either team??? Are the back up QB's and 3rd string QB's good enough to put points on the board, If he is Curtis Painter you may want to avoid betting on that team. |

#18 Posted: 8/9/2012 11:36:34 AM its a crap shoot, but i do agree with the jets...no better way for rex to shut the media up by getting a win and a great opportunity for tebow to show his garbage. those factors alone are enough to warrant a bet on the jets other than just comparing back ups to back ups
who the darn is andy daltons backup btw |

#19 Posted: 8/9/2012 11:38:22 AM you know in the locker room rex is telling his team how annoying the friggin media will be if they lose this meaningless game..could fire up the players and let a 34-7 type trounce occur |
