the death penalty. Think about it no coach,gm. Loss of draft picks. Players punishments coming. I know its not like the NCAA death penalty but its just my opinion. Your thoughts guys

Its not THAT bad.

You do the crime, you do the time.

That garbage the Saints were doing CANNOT be tolerated.

Vilma, and Greg Williams should also be suspendid a year.

If another team was trying to end Drew Bree's career, I think Saints fans and players would have a different feeling.

BTW not saying the saints didn't deserve this. they did i have no problem with it. But when i 1st saw the whole thing i thought that it was like the death penalty. Also for the record i have no problem with colleges who get the death penalty

death penalty?? did drew brees die?  they react by signing broderick bunkley today...kind of like the penn state death penalty i have heard, yet they have commitments from 5 of the top prospects in the nation in a month.  they said the same about ohio state last summer.

death penalty and karma are quickly becoming two very overused statements in this forum.

the saints will be fine, only one team can win a super bowl.  still by far best team in that division.

People need to understand is it's not so much the bounty gig itself. The Commish knew about this previously and they were NOT even punished.    He told them to knock it off and they IGNORED him completely. 

THAT is why they are being penalized so harshly people.  They completely got a free pass the first time they got busted.  But ignore the Commish and you get cracked.  It's their fault for being too dumb to see that.

THEY LIED.

The Commish brought the hammer. Now, they are appealing.

In front of the same guy that suspended them? I think the Saints coaches and GM need to take a Wonderlich test............

Yeah..Williams is on the Rams now, I wonder how teams and players will respond to this. I hope he is suspended for the year, ideally for his career.

 Exactly.  Even though bounties are commonplace throughout the league, they lied to the commisioner, were warned to stop, yet they still refused to heed his advice.  And the audio puts the whole saga completely to rest, as it is self-incriminating.
