Somehow this deal just doesn't feel right. Here's a rookie quarterback that took Denver to the playoff's after sitting on the bench for a 4th of the season ! And won one playoff game ! Now he's going to be bamboozled out of town.

Karma is going to come back and bite Elway. Just wait and see, I have seen it happen so many times in my long lifetime.

Remember who told you.

So you would rather have Tebow be your quarterback, over Peyton Manning?

well 888 I love Manning. I just think Tebow will be a really good NFL qb provided he avoids concussions. That's all its my opinion

ANYBODY in their right mind that wouldn't send Tim Tebow packing in favor of a sure Hall of Famer MUST be one of the stupidest posters EVER in Covers history  Peyton immediately turns Denver into a SB contender

C'mon DJ, have you been hittin' PTB's crackpipe?

Oh wait, I forgot all your threads and posts in the political forum about how Obama is GREAT and no way he can lose come November At least your thinking is consistent

BTW, He will be the greatest thing to ever happen to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Look at the bright side, you'll get to see him improve his throwing mechanics when he arrives in Florida  just sayin.......

I guess Manning is totaly cured, a nd when he takes his first it, he will get right back up and everything will be good. Something tells me the don is onto something.

I dont wish anything bad to happen to peyton, but everyone is acting like he is gonna be peyton manning again, and I thinks it 50/50 he makes it through a season

Great quarterbacks that can throw a football can last a very looooong time given quality consistent protection, Remember, Manning is a timing passer who gets rid of the ball quickly, I really don't think his health will be his most pertinent issue. Aquiring a quality dependable receiving corps whom don't drop passes and immediately Broncos with that defense, will be repeating in a very weak AFC West division.

TT was always blitzed because he couldn't throw the ball and defenses didn't respect his arm and rightfully so. I was one of the few who, knievely, supported TT last season because of his leadership skills. But, I am sure Elway can't wait to rid himself of this traveling freakshow. I do agree though, that DJ could possibly be right that TT will only be in his 3rd season and has much upside, but this move would be made by EVERY NFL GM given this RARE opportunity. It is a nobrainer

If Peyton never plays a single down for the broncos this was still the right move. long term success with tebow isnt possible. I saw them score 3 points at home against KC with the playoffs on the line. Other teams choking got them in. My dad is crushed. He wants more "Timmy miracles."  I said " Dad, beating KC at home shouldnt have to be a miracle."  I will NEVER forget last season. It was great. But it was one in a million.

And the Denver organization has made it clear that they would rather lose any revenue generated from fans that share Don Juans opinion then have to listen to another second of it...

The only thing that didnt feel right to John Elway was watching TIm Tebow...  and when push comes to shove Denver would rather trade Tebow for a turkey sandwich then have to listen to anyone defend his play...

I could care less about Tebow but if I were a coach in the NFL there is no way in hell I would want Tebow on my team because not only is he a massive work in progress and is would be unable to run half my playbook... The distraction that his fans, that a majority of know nothing about todays game of football, are a bigger cancer then T.O., Haynesworth, and Randy Moss combined....

My prediction:  Tebow gets traded to jax for a 5th round pick... and Jax wins 3-4 games next year...

I'm not saying he's better than a 14 year veteran.

Tebow was a rookie.

But Manning is only 9-10 in playoff games. And now 36 years old. So be careful what you wish for..   Indy didn't get rid of him for nothing. I'm not getting caught up in all the Manning hype, that's for you young studs.

Tim Tebow might go to San Francisco, he could back up Alex Smith if Niners need few triple option plays in some key downs. Niners are not a top offensive team, they may need Tebow to run some options in key downs.

Did you actually watch him play?  Most everyone says his role on a good team is as a back-up and bit player (ie. like what Brad Smith does).

If Manning goes down, it's not going to be because of Karma.  SF almost went to the SB last year and they were certainly interested in Manning.  TN was as well and Hasselback had a nice year. Manning is just better than all those 3 even with the risk.  It's just a fact.

At the end of the day, I think the days of Tim Tebow being a starting QB are done.  And he might as well just be happy with being a fullback or tight end.  That way he can help, his team in another way.  He has skills as a football player, but limited skills as a QB.

Elway's voice was cracking during his introduction and later during the questioning from the media. He sounded like a nervous young girl on her first date. To me, he sounded like the bonehead that he truly is.

No question Don Juan that karma and the fact that Tebow is a good friend of the son of the creator of the universe will bite Elway in his big dumb behind.

I predict that the Broncos will NOT make the playoffs this year.

MY Prediction Tebow gets released and gets picked up by New England or Green Bay......They MIGHT get a 7 RD pick if they are lucky. Nobody wants this guy as a starter thats for sure.

I though you would be the last person to be defending a good, law abiding, conservative christian.

Your right he dosent spend money on F.A. but he resigns MOST of his own guys except Offensive Lineman......He let 2  good ones walk away his first year and just let Wells go.....But I think he is intrigued by Tbow....Not sure what his contract looks like.

iI would've rather had Asomugha last year who wanted to be a packer or Brandon Marshall. It snot like Ted cares about women beating players after all we had Erik Walden

No man is more or less in the eyes of the Creator.  God cares no more or no less for Tim Tebow than he does for anybody else, we are all his children.  Just sayin...  Tim Tebow is nothing other than a man with faults like any of us, we are all sinners, even Tebow.

Let's stop calling Tebow a rookie. Last year was his second season and he had 3 starts in 2010.
