Last time he didn't defer they got the ball, Brady came in and got hurt on the first drive. Since then BB has never deferred.

Exactly. Yes they did  hold , but got the ball on the six which resulted in a safety. I'm sorry , but  give the ball to Brady. It's just my opinion.

He likes to get a read on the defenses make adjustments and get the ball on offense in the 2nd half. Seems like a good idea to me.

Giants got the ball to mid field, and pinned them down inside their 5 directly leading to the safety.

The get the kick off they would have most likely started at their 20.  So yes, the deferment directly lead to giving the momentum to the
Giants.

both teams look tight to me, time to take the training wheels off brady and let him throw it deep, these 4 yard passes arent fooling anyone...
