I have quite a few thought on this game....not much time but here are some....will likely add more in the coming days....
I'm pretty shocked at the consensus of this game. Not necessarily that NYG is getting most the action, but more so, at how little NE is getting. A team which is usually a public darling has now been abandoned and the majority of bettors who supported the Pats throughout the year have now jumped ship. I've heard the reasons and can somewhat see why. I was all over the G-Men against SF and immediately was going to jump all over NY before I saw the line and before I thought about it a bit more. Unlike Collin Coward, who thought the Giants would be 6 pt favorites, which I think is crazy, I actually thought we would see NE favorite by at least 6.
People point to the fact that the Giants are hot, winners of 5 in a row, but who is the true hot team? The Pats have won 10 in a row (6-4 ATS). I don't care who they've played....that is impressive in the NFL and nobody is mentioning this. The fact that it's the Pats, who have been perennial winners, it's easy to disregard this. If just about another team came into this game with their same resume, they would be highly touted. But since people are used to seeing NE win, I can see why this is disregarded.
Another thing that is mentioned a lot is that NE has not beating a team with an above .500 record during the regular season. They've played two teams with an above .500 record during the reg season...lost at Pitt and lost to these same Giants by 4 pts despite committing 4 turnovers. Not sure if this loss to the Giants favors NY. Nevertheless, this is an absolutely WEAK argument. NE is the reason NYJ,SD, DEN, OAK and PHIL are not above .500. So give credit where credit is due. NE has been consistent and hot all year...not over a short span.
People also point to the fact NE defense is weak, but bottom line, both these defenses are poor...it's just NYG has more notable names on their front. I'm sure there will be many excuses about how NYG has been banged up but I'm not buying it.
New England -3 (even) LARGE NE -7.5 (+180) Over 54
Good luck everyone!

Man are you serious??Who's wins have been far superior and impressive? Beating Tebow and praying for cundiff to choke isn't impressive to me. Beating the 15-1 Packers in GB and then beating a powerhouse SF team with the best defense in the NFL is impressive. 2 straight road playoff wins is impressive. You guys are fooling your selves badly. You realize that Brady contacted his football shrink last week to help him with his mechanics? That doesn't concern you? This guy has clearly lost confidence. If the Pats can't protect him, it's good night Irene. Love the under and big lean NYG.

New England -3 (even) LARGE NE -7.5 (+180) Over 54 WRONGO DONGO. The Giants ARE hotter now and that is what counts .The last 5 games have been huge and they won them all out performing the pointspred big except S.F., and that was on road. All the data and stats and power ratings have not matched the reality of where the GIANTS D is now. all the so called numbers reflect the regular season, not the present ; it is kind of simple; what don"t you understand? They beat them in the S.B., beat them this year and ended their long home winning streak and Brady SUCKED, (HIS WORDS) AGAINST THE ONLY 3 RESPECTABLE DEFENSES HE PLAYED AGAINST THIS YEAR, PITTS. NYG., AND BALT. and two of those are getting old and decrepid.....THE GIANTS ARE GETTING HEALTHIER AND BETTER AS WE SPEAK .COLIN WAS WRONG,they should be favored by 7. UWILLCSUNDAY>>>> NOBIAS HERE>>>>JUST COLOR IT (Lucas Oil Stadium ) BLUE, AS IN BIG BLUE!
Good luck everyone!

TOTALLY
Compare this to horseracing and CLASS. GIANTS have played and BEATEN a much tougher group of winning opponents. Besides NYG beat NE at their place and Cowgirls should have beaten NE too, with not nearly the d-line G-MEN have.
Cal Bear, you are on the wrong side hear buddy -7.5, wtf have you been smoking Dude only way NE wins by 8 is if NYG don't get off the bus

Mark pa, I think BRADY is a great QB but if he is always on his ass the whole game or has very little time to operate, Tommy ain't heading to NFL IMMORTALITY matching up with these gints come Sunday. Just trying to be objective and keeeping it real
Besides this is PEYTON"S PLACE You think a MANNING is gonna lose their last game there

I agree with what your saying in that New England is the team that has won 10 games in a row and last i checked that is better than winning 5 in a row regardless of who and where. Winning playoff games at home is almost as hard as winning on the road due these days

Your points are truer than most wanna believe here - @ Giants fan. 10 wins in a row is impressive no matter which way you slice it. The Pats schedule at the beginning of the year was very tough; it's not their fault their opponents ENDED UP .500 or worse.
The interesting part I saw at my book is the ML for the giants is +105 for the Gmen and -135 for the Pats. +3 is -135 for Gmen and -3 is +105 for Pats....kinda does'nt make sense in what EVERYONE thinks is a 3 point game.
I bet the UNDER and some props and am just gonna enjoy the game. But, I love your plays considering the value. -3 for even money is fair, -7.5 for +180 is fair and only possible if the game goes OVER...your bets seem inline to me
GL....
