All these threads about Vegas setting lines and all these irrelevant trends and all the dumb shit you guys use to cap is ridiculus!!!!

Man its superbowl, pick a fucking team or a total and relax.  Nothing you guys speak of matter.  My fuck if it wasnt a true or false test you would all fail every week!

Since when did you start feeling like this? You sure were long winded in your write ups about of reasons on how Denver would beat NE. Now all of a sudden it's pick your team and shut up?OK whatever you say.

the problem around here is most people are just gambling addicts, not actually football handicappers... so they wouldn't know who to pick if it weren't for (a) other people around here, most of whom are the same as them, (b) line movements, (c) public percentages, (d) other bullshit that doesn't matter at all...

if this place had nothing but people who know football, it could be a gold mine for everyone... but it's not!

To the haters....  listen I am actually giving solid advice.  This is the superbowl.  Throw all history out the window, all stats, trends.   Do NOT pay attention to line movements.  Whatever team you think is better you play.  It is that simple in my opinion.  Yes you are all correct everyone can do or say as they please.  That is why I love the country we live in.  I am just saying, reading into line movements or betting based on history is moronic as the entire world is betting on this one game.  No tricks are being played by vegas and no past results have any effect whatsoever on this individual game.

I'm not so sure about that. I have been askin everyone i meet about this game. When all of covers, sharps, squares, public, media, momma, grandma, and every chick i talk to is on the giants. It just gives me a really bad feelin about this game. I have no idea if i am gonna even bet this game.

Right now i don't care about points mr.Q. I am waiting till the action settles down and if my gut tells me patriots, then i will act on it. Both teams are a good investment in my opinion. It's the crazy love affair with the giants that turns me off. I don't want to be the mouse taking the "giant" big piece of cheese and the trap go off.
