If Eli wins, will he be considered better than Peyton?

I was watching espn this morning and one of the annalist said that if Eli beats the patriots yet again, there is no doubt in his mind that he will be considered the better qb.Thoughts?

how many of those guys did peyton make great...because without him i saw dallas clark and reggie wayne look pretty bad.  hakeem nicks is more talented than marvin harrison or reggie wayne ever were.  the giants defenses with eli have been leaps and bounds better than indy, not even close.  Mathis had about one or two good years.  Giants have always had guys like Osi,Tuck, Strahan now Pierre Paul, Kiwanuaka to rush the qb.peyton is the better qb no matter if eli wins another super bowl, eli is good but played on better overall teams.

in my book, if eli wins in great fashion he will be seen as an equal. if he wins 3 he will be greater than peyton.

I think it&#x27;s definately debatable even before the super bowl.  Let&#x27;s not forget Peyton had exellent teams and was surrounded by a lot of talent as well in the past.  Peyton also had great coaching, Tony Dungy is still on teams wishlist.  Peyton might have better numbers so far in their careers but that because of the type of offenses their in.  Peyton&#x27;s was always a pass first attack, Eli had a run first offense which evolved into a pass first offense so his numbers are only now becoming huge.  But numbers aside, no matter what happens in the super bowl, eli has been money when he needed to be, or in the words of peyton "clutch"

I mean Sandra Bullock has an Oscar, right? There are a dozen actresses I can think of who are better than she is, but she's arguably more successful.

If Eli were to win a third one (and it's possible because he's still pretty young) does that make him Tom Brady? Of course not.

Hakeem Nicks was a nobody until Manning put him on the map.

When will people start giving credit to Eli??? The Giants D has been mediocre this year up until Week 14/15 yet Eli still put up career numbers dont get me wrong he is not better than Peyton AT THIS CURRENT MOMENT IN TIME but if he has another good season next year you have to make the argument that he is better.

Eli is great in the 4th quarter with numerous come from behind wins this season, His play off record is far better than Peytons and he can read defenses just as well as Peyton and in fact he tends to throw less interceptions than Peyton.

All this talk of Eli not being an elite QB is nonsense and is mostly coming from people who bet the 49ers last week.

IMO Peyton is the better franchise QB but  I would still take Eli on any SINGLE game. Dude has ice water in his veins. Even Peyton admitted Eli&#x27;s nerves are the same during a pre season game as they are in the Super Bowl. 2 great QB&#x27;s and Eli will be lifted to the 1st tier of QB&#x27;s if he pulls this out.
