Quick question and an apology to the 49ers....................

Question

The quick question i&#x27;m not sure who the Ravens receiver was in the end zone that caught the pass with about 2.30 left in the game but was that not a touchdown.  He caught the ball so the ball had crossed the plane and made about two steps before he was stripped.  I understand in the open field that if  he was stripped of the ball then NE can recover but this was the end zone and he had to be stripped of the ball he was not bobbling the ball he had caught it with both hands he wasn&#x27;t going to the ground.  I don&#x27;t know i think the Ravens should have had it reviewed.  Anyways i did not lose a bet on it i am just asking the question.  Secondly i would like to apologize to the 49ers they actually should have won the game.   Still hate Harbaugh though.

&#xD;&#xA;You definetly saw the same thing he caught the ball in both hands  was not bobbling the ball and who ever it was that stripped the ball had to come down hard on him to strip it.  It should have been reviewed it was a touchdown.

That was close- tough call.No one mentioned the Ravens wide receiver face-masking and pulling the defender for 5 yards while headed to the goal line. The play was reviewed to see if he got in. It was a TD but no mention of the flagrant holding.

I will give you a similar instance.  When Brady dove with the ball in his hands to score that TD if Ray Lewis comes over and knocks the ball out of his hands its still a touchdown once it breaks the plain.  I think the Ravens got rip and i was really surprised when they didn&#x27;t ask for a review.

They did review it upstairs, the call to have the ref review it was never made because he didn&#x27;t have two feet down. It wasn&#x27;t a TD, very close though.

watch the replay of ESPN First Take from 12-2, its on now and right at the beginning of the show, they took a look at the play in slow motion and freeze it... the live broadcast ends at 12 but it replays then so u can watch it at 12

... its really close and Skip Bayless thinks it was a catch but the freezed photo looks like he barely knocks it loose before his second foot is down. still too close IMHO to not even review, they shouldve atleast went under the hood

It actually was pretty easy to see he was stripped prior to his second foot touching the ground.  One replay view is all you need, and I am sure Bmore had someone radio-ing down to the field to say it was not a TD

&#xD;&#xA;its pretty goddamn close man, dont get me wrong, i think he was stripped before the ball came out but it wasnt a "no-brainer", it shouldve atleast been looked at.... if were not gonna replay a play of that magnitude, thats even  &#x27;somewhat close&#x27;, then why even have replays???
