I think it's time the impression some "sharper" players have on teasers change their view. Yesterday and 4 combination of teasers would of paid out. The books most certainly took a bath yesterday. I for one made them pay. Hope everyone else was in on the blood bath.

That should read, "any 4 combinations of team teasers"

I never played a teaser until this years playoffs. Hit two teasers the last two weeks. If you teased the pats yesterday with 6.5 points either way you won that game. I think teasers in the regular season are more difficult to win. I will tease the super bowl with the total. Beat the book big time....

Many NFL playoff games are played so tight, and the lines are spot on.  Teasers are a great way to move the line around.   Wasn't comfortable with -2 SF, or +2 NYG.  So you tease it... and Bang.  There's your winner.   Seeing both games ending with a margin of 3 points, teasers prove to be very lucrative.

The only teaser play that didnt hit yesterday was Baltimore Over.  The missed field goal wouldve made it happen.  As mentioned before the previous 2 years went 8 for 8, this year 7 for 8 on this weekend.

I think its safe to say, teasing on championship weekend is the way to go and will continue to do so.  But darn!  That friggin kick wouldve made me some loot yesterday!

I was reading earlier in the week, that Vegas is looking at NFL Championship week teasers carrying much more juice.   They are more at a -160, then the normal -120.     I saw that, and the  went off, and i pounded the teaser.  Max play.   Now on to capping the Super Bowl........

Vegas Runner @VegasRunner 17 Jan

According to some sharps..Conference Championship TEASERS should cost bettors closer to -170 or -180 than the -120 or so books charge.

Using a standard 6 pt. tease on both sides in both games and over / under also....  NE -1 WINNER - BALT + 13 WINNER- UNDER 56 WINNER -OVER 44 LOSER (BY THE MISSED TYING F.G.) SF- +3.5 WINNER- NYG- +8.5 WINNER- OVER 35 WINNER- UNDER 47 WINNER. Not that it will work out this well every year...Seems that are played with more success during playoffs in nfl and bowl season in cf.

I make the bulk of my $$$ the past 6 years betting using Teasers.  Like I mentioned many times on here, teasers saved me many times over the year even during regular seasons.  I normally play 3 or 4 teams single bets.  Then parlay my best 3.  And add a teasers to that.  YESTERDAY I KILLED THE BOOK.  I TURNED $1800 account I have into a whopping $8700.  HELL YEAH!  I am ready for the SB.

teasers can be profitable if used intelligently. Getting over "magic" numbers (3 and 7) tends to be profitable when betting sides. For instance I had the pats teased to -2 with the giants +7.5 yesterday because it crossed both magic numbers and when that is possible I believe a "sharp" would encourage it

They do well some weeks, but in the long run the reduced odds make them shitty. I know this week was good, and there was a crazy week this season where like 9-10 games were within 1 pt of the spread.  But I believe over the history of lined NFL games, the AVG. deviation from the spread is more than 10 pts.

is a sucker bet in terms of you make a lot less than you could have made wit hthe same selections .. but it can save you sometimes like with pats yesterday .. but overall ? you wont make much no .. but of course it is better than going backwards with your bankroll .. on the days you would get screwed by the pointspread .. is more of a recreational stay even kinda strat .. is all it is .. of course unless you are dropping big $ on the teasers .. then that is always worth a shot .. the selections you like may be good with the reg spread .. so you watch the game an never sweat it because you teased it .. if you have a +10 and they score a t dfirst you are up 17 - 0 off the bat .. if you actaully watch the games from start to finish .. most just see WHAT THEY WANT TO SEE ... and really dont get the trueness of what just occured from the start of the 1st q to the end of the 4th .. this is one of a million different phenoms .. just the way it is .

selective memory is a human flaw and one that is good for vegas . common sense ?

if the teaser helped you out more than it didnt in the overall pic of your wagering life it was good .. lmao   if not which it probably didnt then no , might as well go for the larger payouts ..

"teasers" would not be made available to you if Vegas lost money on them.

If teasers weren't good bets the books wouldn't be shifting and inflating the lines to protect themselves from teasers. Particularly the 6-7 pt type on the spread.

Parlays are sucker bets.

Teasers are effective on divisional games.

let's start in week 4 this year the teams good on 7 pt t

week 4 > 26 - 6  meaning only 6 were no good tacking on 7

week 5 > 19 - 7

week 6 > 20 - 6

week 7 > 17 - 9

week 8 > 18 - 8

week 9 > 16 - 8

week 10 > 22 - 10

week 11 > 21 - 7

week 12 > 28 - 4

week 13 > 19 - 13

week 14 > 28 - 4    no good was phins chiefs bucs bills raiders , depending on when and where you got the line , so it can be sketchy , could count cboys as loss or push , could count rams as loss but if you waited and got rams at +10.5 you would have had +17,5 , they lost at sea on mon night by 17 .. okay enough of that week 15 ? lmao

tacking 7 on you feel like you always have a good chance , i know .

I love it when people talk about teasers being sucker bets.  Keep up the talk so I can keep making cash under the radar.

Only if you bet them all the time and they are the majority of your bets. If you are selective and smart with them, no.
