Can I jump in? Runnig game in my opinion is about even--pass rush goes to the 49ers --special teams to 49ers ( Akers ) pass receptions goes to Giants. Giants get more penalties, and fumble recoveries that turn into points are the game changer. Home field and weather ( I promised myself I wasn't gonna bring that up ) give the 49ers a slight advantage ------49ers by 3 and the under...

As far as the wind goes........it will not come into play, as it's only going to be 10-15 mph. It usually needs to be at LEAST 25-30 mph to be an issue.
Myself? I love the Giants today. I believe SF is very over rated. They've played the 29th ranked schedule, and were able to take advantage of other teams mistakes. Not today. Hell, NO had 5 turnovers against them and still scored 32 points. With the game being handed to them by the Saints, the Niners couldn't win until the last play of the game. The Saints were looking to knock at 50 points without shooting themselves in the foot.
I will take a smoking hot team, that's finally healthy, over a mundane offense and over rated defense any day.

A tarp will cover the field until a few hours before kickoff. The turf
at Candlestick Park was replaced prior to San Francisco's game against
the Steelers on Dec. 19.
My belief is that a crappy surface is a huge advantage to the passing game. Manning is eons better than Smith. SF relies on turnovers to win games. Below average offense......and an average defense if they play a descent team.
