Heard about that, I think he meant how he should be breaking more tackles as big as he is, he doesn't run over ppl like he should

For a guy that size ya he's soft...and talks too much...saying he 'knew' on wednesday they would beat the Packers..psst..although I will say that NYG +8 line against Green Bay was a gift...It ws apparent Green Bay came back to earth late in nthe year when the lost to KC, Chicago played very well against them in week 16, and Detroit hung 40+ on em in week 17....I wish I would have playd the Giants with the money line in that game...

Jacobs is soft in the head.  He might look all big and bad but if you watch them play enough you will know what I am talking about.  He will play like garbage for most of a game and then have a twelve or fifteen yard run and then start acting like he won a championship.  He nearly taunts the other team every time he makes a big play.  He physically is a big guy but that doesn't mean he is mentally tough.  I think that is where Rice was going on that one.

ask any giants fan. he runs like he's 160 lbs until he gets past the line of scrimmage, then no one wants to tackle him

As a mortal human I would never get in front of that guy or call him soft.....unless I was prepared to be a paraplegic

SF d-linemen are known to be among the toughest in the NFL so the hits here are going to be as hard as any hits in the NFL all year

whoopty doo, too bad he doesn't always hit that hard. He's a head case, reminds me of this big Samoan I used to play football with, dude was huge and stronger than anyone I've ever came across, got a full ride to UCLA but he was so soft unless he was really pissed off, but it would never last the whole game, couple plays at max, then go back to just being average.. Just like Jacobs. He might be a beast for a play or two but you never know with him because sometimes he'll run like he's as big as Sproles, I think he deserves to be labeled soft.

This Giants team are an experience bunch...Rice can call all the names he want in the book, the Gmen will beat those 9ers.

Jacobs is soft. Im a Giants fan and I cant stand when he dances around in the backfield. Instead of running through the hole this big bitch tries to break it outside. Once in awhile he will play physical and try to run people over. Too bad it doesnt do it all the time.

right about that one, and a nightmare job it is, DB's shit in their pants when jacobs is running their way, as soon as they see jacobs break the line of scrimmage and he gets past the linebackers those db's have no choice but to step up and try to show an effort by tackling the northbound 260lb frieght train, and that ain't no easy task

He is soft for his size and I want to see how many Giant fans want him back next season if they lose this next game. It won't be unanimous that's for sure.

I can assure you they wanted to jettison him permanently after the Saints debacle earlier in the year. Giants as a team are playing great and he is caught up in that. Winning cures all ills.

In the video, guys his size arent running at him wanting to rip his head off.

If Ray Rice had his size but kept the speed he would gain 5 yards every time.

I guess it's all about getting past the line, up to the line he's soft, if he can do that the DBs are going to sh!t as someone said......

One thing that concerns me is Brashaw's history of fumbling the ball.

We'll see how Thunder and Lightning stack up against the best run d in the league.

9ers dbs are big and strong so I don't think they fear Jacobs when he comes down the middle. This gonna be a hard/physical/hitting game for both sides.

I've watched every game Brandon Jacobs has played in the NFL, He doesn't run with the same attitude that he did when he first came in the league, we say here in NY that he ''tip toes'' to much by running east to west and not north and south. I think hes not going to be a Giant either way next year win or lose this game unless he takes a very small contract. I do not think hes soft as a competitor, and i believe your gonna see some very hard running from him come this Sunday the Rice comments are only gonna throw fuel on to the fire. I would say he plays soft sometimes but for you guys to call him soft all around is insane he is one of the emotional leaders on this team.
