Nobody in this illustrious forum has any opinion on the Kansas Citcy @ Chicago game?

$25 on a 4 teamer with your 4 that already won on your ticket would have paid $250 profit. Your ticket pays about $500 profit. You really cannot gain or lose much here, because if you bet, say $265 on the Chiefs at +7.5, you are really just reducing yourself to the 4 teamer, which you already won. So, it comes down to this, do you want to walk away with the 4 teamer money that you already secured by picking the 1st 4 winners of a a 5 teamer, or do you feel confident in the Bears tomorrow, and how confident do you feel in the Bears tomorrow. Why did you pick the Bears? It is up to you. GL

Thanks for your insight.....I will put $100 on the Chiefs as I do think even with the backup QB Bears defense, running game, home field, and special teams they should win by 8.

I like the idea of putting a hundred on the chiefs, I think its a good strategy of not backing off your bet completely. GL

as long as hanie can limit his mistakes the bears should cover fairly easy here ..bears tough to beat at home ..

I guess I don't understand hedging if it's not life-altering money on the line. If you have enough faith on the Bears play to put them in a play, then you should still have enough faith on them (of course barring some sort of huge injury between placing the bet and game-time) to let it ride. If you made a WTH parlay, then let it ride.

If you're betting or gambling for fun as a hobby, then the point is to hit the big score. Go for it man. Makes the game all that better when you're watching it.

In this case you're right as it is not that big of a ticket. But a few years back I hit an 8-Team 1/2 point card $50 that paid out $10,400.....You better believed I broke that sucker in half and believe it or not nearly middled the otherside. My big ticket went all the way and ended up with a nice profit of over $5,000.....

Still I hate to see good parlay tickets go down the drain so I will put $100 on KC just because it is football and anything can happen.

why make the parlay in the first place? especially since your last game is a day after the others, and last i checked at the stations kc was +7 on the board so that kills your hedge if they lose by a td

Always, always, always hedge. Even if it's just to get back what you bet. You have a guarantee that you won't lose money, who the hell would let that go when you can still win big?
