FIrst off I have many key reasons why I am making this selection and I'll list them here..
MIAMI -2.5 -110

1.cross country trip for the raiders

2.extra rest for dolphins coming off their turkey day game vs cowboys which I feel is critical when making this pick

3.i still feel Miami is being undervalued this season even though their defense has been for the most part strong against the run, that being the raiders main strength on offense

4.who is gonna cover Brandon Marshall? The raiders defense won't be able to stop this underrated Miami offense with Marshall and Reggie bush leading the way

Feel free to give me your opinions but on my view this is a strong game of the year

Stanford Routt will be all over Marshall, he's a pretty solid CB.

That strange logic usually wins. I really like that Miami pick as well. AFC West division leader 7-4 are 3 pt underdogs vs the last ranked Dolphins 3-8. It's obvious which team Vegas is begging you to take. Oakland has had a lot of luck since their bye week, including yesterday's win over the Bears. I say luck because Jay Cutler broke his thumb late in the 4th quarter against the Chargers. I believe and I'm sure most would agree that Cutler would have made a positive difference than Hanie (who threw 3 INTS) yesterday. Jump on it at -2.5 if you get that line!

Miami has been a very solid team the last 6 weeks.  Even in their losses they looked like the better team (Giants and Dallas), G L to ya, I'll be on it if possible

Oakland's luck can only last for so long. As a Raider hater, I must admit that they have played solid for most of the time this year. They actually have been very dominant and own solid victories over legitimate opponents (ie: Jets, Texans, Chargers, Chicago), but they are long due for a loss and I believe it will happen at an "away" game vs the Dolphins. They won on the road @ Houston, @ Minnesota, @ Denver - I'm willing to bet against that trend that they will win another one on the road next week. 

The last two games at home for Miami:

Miami 20
Washington 9

Miami 35
Buffalo 8

I can see at least a TD win for the Dolphins.

Miami 17
Oakland 10

Don't know which way to lean yet.....Oak. 4-1 on road....SU......5-0  ATS on road.......should be a good one.

raiders are cover machine this year. 

How does that jingle with mia goes again?  Oh right, mia is only good playing away?  Oh right, wrong year and wrong stats.  

Mia is actually better at home this year.  I can not say the same for their fans.  Seat are still empty like them Miami Heat game.  Narf narf narf. 

I'm on oakland with the small spread. 

The falcons
lions
bears
boys
bengles

If these other teams like atl, det, chi, dal, cinn were to play mia, Mia will still be dog.  

These teams all have something in common with the raiders and that is a nice looking playoff potential record at 7-4.   How the hell can you place money on an under .500 team? 

Oh right, it is wishful thinking or looking at mia's past, present and future to predict results.  Best of luck to fish backers.

I think over ......last yr. Miami put up 33 points wiht Chad Henne, the Raiders Defense is in a big let down spot.......

The Raiders are 5-0 ATS away, and 6-1 as an underdog. DO you guys really think that Miami will beat Oakland by more that 2.5?
