Why is nobody on the Raiders?

This is a different Raider team of the past. Carson Palmer playing really well and they have some weapons on offense. This is a max play for me with the line dropping to -3.5. Your thoughts

A lot of people are, maybe not most, but a good amount.

i will add that mcfadden and jacoby ford are out , and hayward bey and seymour are proable in front of another sellout crowd.

I agree with you, but can I ask you why you are so big on the Raiders this week??  I am not trying to bash or anything...I am right on the fence with this bet, and would love to hear what you are thinking...

Bears couldn't run the ball at home against a pathetic SD run D, the Bears couldn't rush Phillip Rivers last week against a pathetic SD O-Line, Bears are running on fumes after playing 3 emotional games so I doubt their D has enough in the tank to pretty much win this game for them alone, Hester is banged up, long snapper is out (and yes that's a significant injury cause he's a leader and in a conservative gameplan with Hanie) shit like that matters, the Raiders are hungry for a win at home with Palmer after going 0-2 with him there earlier, they feed on injuries just look at what they did to SD and their banged up O-Line, and what they did to Minny after A Pete got hurt- they show no mercy and force a lot of turnovers plus their offense is not anemic and will use their speed to put pressure on the older Bears D

the raiders are like a box of chocolates, u never know what you're gonna get, they gave up 49 at home to tebow.

but the raidas have great playas

that's probably why I think they won't come into this game relaxed after that loss plus the Bears are a legitimate contender I think the Raiders show up big tomorrow

I just got the Raiders -3. I'm quite happy with it. Raiders are playing well and against a backup in his first start on the road. I expect a close tough contest but I can live with winning or losing on the Raiders. I believe it opened at -5.5. Every line I've seen change this drastically lately has went against the direction it moved.

way the raiders put pressure on the QB, caleb might be in for a long day. I definitely would not like my first start to be vrs raiders thats for sure.

Looking at this one. Might be just a fade of Caleb Hanie. Bears need Cutler to win any games.

I'm a Bears fan and penciled this game as a loss before Cutler got hurt, now with Hanie in the Black Hole he's gonna go in there and win?? I don't think so. I'm all over OAK myself, see a 23-10 type game. Under worth a look too IMO. Bears are gonna try and establish the run and not get too cute and control the clock. I may even parlay OAK with the under. GL 

Last week a pk em and they won easily. Noone on this forum was touting them. Only elite teams get touted, like the Pats, GB, Dallas...oh, and da Bears.

 

 

Not saying that I disagree with the Oakland play but Chicago can win without Cutler.  They beat Carolina 23-6 last year with Todd Collins starting. He was 6-16 for 32 yards and 4 picks

The line is moving b/c the Raiders have a LOT of injured players. Murphy and Shillens are probably going to start w/ DHB playing injured. It doesn't look like the rookie sensation Moore is going to play.

AND, the Raiders have been playing like SHIT at home. That's why people are putting their hard earned $$$$ on the Bears....

better question would be why isn't anybody on the Bears?  cuz it looks like about a 4:1 ratio of Raiders to Bears around these parts...

May I remind all of you what good it did the raiders stacking 8 in the box vs Tim tebow?  Raiders are 26th in the nfl vs the run giving up an avg of 5.2 per carry and an NFL high 15 runs over 20 yds.  Did any of you watch the NFC championship game?  Hanie brought the bears back in the 4th and was knocking on the door before he threw the pick.  He's mobile and can move around.  They will call the same plays they ran for cutler moving the pocket to nutralize the pass rush.  Expect a heavy dose of Matt Forte and a lot of short throws.   Hanie is not Jay Cutler, but he can manage the game and make some plays with his feet.  If Tim Tebow can run all over the raiders why couldn't matt forte.  They didn't need Jay Cutler to beat the lions.  I'm not saying the bears win this game but there defense and running game will keep it close.    The raiders have similar receivers to the eagles, small and fast.  Macon and Jackson combined for 6 catches for 83 yds.  The bears can win on the road, and have done it before with defense and special teams.  Moore is ques, Ford and McFadden are out.  Buyer beware.  Bears are a good football team and can win a multitude of ways.  That defense feels like they need to pitch a shutout, they are capable of doing it.   KC ran all over Oakland as well.  Carson Palmer 6TD passes / 7 picks.  Bears are number 2 in NFL in INTs and 4th in take aways.
