NFL Thanksgiving

2. Baltimore -3 (-120) 1 unit

Green Bay @ Detroit
 
I knew Green Bay coming out of the bye would start to decline ats. They had a close game vs SD with the backdoor open the entire game, and it came down to 1 possession as GB escapes with a 7 pt win.
 
Back up to the Minnesota game, same thing. Vikes backdoor.
 
Now Tampa, who has played GB tough throughout the years, not only played tough enough to cover, but to win su. Too bad their coach is a moron, as he elects to go for a 2 pt conversion twice and fails on both. If he just kicks the xp's it's a 7 pt game with a shot to tie.

The writing has been on the wall for the Packers.
 
This team has been an offensive machine, hiding the flaws with their defense, who has been getting torched ever since the opener vs the saints. Problem is for Green Bay, how will this team respond when Rodgers & co has an offensive struggle? When it comes down to the defense making a stop vs the offense making a play. If I was a GB fan, I would be uneasy about the Pack. Reference the undefeated Pats with the greatest chokejob in the NFL.
 
Detroit has the best WR in the NFL, they have the front 4 to get pressure on Rodgers and I do think K. Smith will have enough production to keep Rodgers on the sidelines.
 
Getting a touchdown at home in the division game is the play.

i didn't know that they were going to decline ats after a "bye" but i definately predicted it..i'm for sure feelin' the lions tomorrow..

as far as the the ravens go..may the best brother win..

And yes, when the pack played in minny, the vikings backdoored in the 2nd half, no dispute. it happened.

I get the feeling here that based on the line that most people will see value with the niners catching points. Remeber the ugly game when SF travelled out to Cinci, well I think SF will have an offensive output similar to that.
 
Now the one thing I have been impressed with SF is their defense. It is why they keep winning. That will come to an end Thanksgiving night.
 
SF is the benefit of a soft schedule. Over the last couple games they have looked sloppy on offense, especially in the red zone. They had better production earlier in the season. Harbough even expressed his concern with how they played their last game vs Arizona, luckily for them they were playing Arizona.
 
For anyone who follows me, knows I track teams as their own market. Niners are in for a letdown and this is a horrible schedule spot for them. I expect a solid 10 pt win for the Ravens here.

i agree with u that Det matches up well. But when they get on the fiels GB is just gonna spread em out with 5 wides and i will take say James Jones over Det 5th DB. Now im not saying GB is unbeatable but i dont think Det is the team.  And its not even so much about the teams. its about Rodgers. ive been watching NFL for 30 yrs and ive never seen a QB make the throws that this Dude does! And the accuracy is Ridiculous! So i just dont see anyone beating this Kid!  I think the only way the Pack loses this yr is if they beat Themselves!

can't dispute Rodgers playing at a high level, Rodgers doesn't play defense though. Some massive holes on the Pack defense and this is a great matchup for Calvin to have a big day. And my play on the Lions is +7, not ml. While I could see Detroit winning, I am taking the points here.

And this is also a bettor's intuition here on this play. Anytime someone wonders how could a team lose? Or how could GB not win by 7, 10 etc, the opposite happens.

1. No way 2005 USC loses to Texas

2. No way Florida beats Ohio St as 8 pt dogs in '07

3. No way Patriots lose to the Giants after thier undefeated season.

4. No way Vanderjagt misses a fg vs Pitt in '05 playoffs. (Most accurate of all time)

5. No way Cowboys lose off a bye in '07 to the Giants, to a team they beat twice in the regular season.

I could go on, but you get my point. There is always a way and they have to play the game. GL to you on your play.

Agree, agree, and agree. I'm seeing lots of value in the -6.5 +143 and even the -9.5 at +215. I haven't felt this good about a game all year. Good luck to you
