Yeah sure they lost Jay, but you think this means they start losing Games against average teams with worst QBs like Carson Palmer???

Bears have an elite Defense and can score through the run as much as through the pass.

Chad Henne will be competent and has 3 training sessions and some to know what the Bears require.

Bears win this outright going away.

Be careful w/  Da Bears.......they just lost Cutler and long snapper Patrick Mannelly (IR) who is a team captain and set the record for the most games played by a Bear in team histroy.....that's a big blow, they also lost G Chris Williams, line got a little banged up vs SD, plus the young secondary of Chi is suspect,   now they go to Oak and that game is no easy task.....Caleb Hanie hasn't proved garbage yet.....probaly won't play Chi +4.5.....I like the Under though.

Sorry, I was eating my bucket of KFC and didn't focus.

CALEB HANIE or whoever. Don't matter none. Bears have the greatest RB in Forte and they get yards easy on the play.

NFL is the GREATEST SPORT in the World and you don't think Caleb isn't going to play well???

The guy will prove himself Sunday nite - just watch. I would stress more with Games against teams like Packs or 49ers before I worry about a team like Oakland.

Bears win this away 16-3

I guess you were busy eating your bucket of KFC and forgot to watch last night KC/NE game with Tyler Thigpen playing QB for KC.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Chicago doesn't have an elite defense.  They have some elite players, but not an elite defense.  I'm not sure about this game yet, but it's the Raiders or no play for me.  If you've watched the Bears play recently, Cutler has been playing out of his mind.  I personally don't like the guy, but you can't deny how well he's been playing.  He's been moving and sliding in the pocket and keeping plays alive with his feet and keeping his eyes down the field.  I can see "Chad Henne" getting flustered by the rush and not keeping his eyes down field.  It also doesn't help that he hasn't played much and doesn't have the same connection with the receivers to know where they'll be when he possibly eludes the rush.

dont you think oakland knows they have a backup QB in and that chicago will look to run forte and oakland will stack the box to make hanie beat them through the air? but oakland cant stop the run so who knows how that will turn out. game looks like a no play for me.

I don't know if the Bears WILL win, but they certainly CAN win with Mr. Hanie @ QB

One of the funniest lines I've seen in a box score was last year.    Bears @ Carolina, Cutler had a concussion and didn't play.   Todd Collins was the starter.  His line

6/16  32 yds  0 TD  4 INT   6 point 3 QB rating

Bears won the game, 23-6

Ha...nice post Biscuit.  I like the stats

I just did a ten point tease....CHI +15, ATL pk, PIT pk

I think Chicago can definitely win this game...but to be safer...I will inflate the points against Carson Palmer...and feel better with 2 free TD's to spare

Spooker welcome to covers...Yes, Bears are second best team in NFC but don't buy into the theory they will win most of their games without Cutler.  Also, Raiders will win the West, Palmer is improving every outing, and to say he's below average is laughable.  btw if Mc Fadden plays take your money off the Bears.

Are you trying to say Carson Palmer is one of the league's worst Qb's If so nothing you say should be taken seriously. Or if that's not enough to never take you seriously the Bear's are 'your team' and you don't know who their back up QB is. I suggest you create a new account and start over. You only have 75 posts, not that big a deal.

Slow your roll...............the Bears will have a tough time winning in Oakland. Dont know about the spread but the Raiders win this game SU imo. Everyone will see how much the Bears will suffer not having Cutler. Bears still have a good defense but it wont stop Palmer & the Raiders from scoring.

I can see Hanie throwing a few picks.............Raiders 24-17

My bad.  My apologies.  With that said, they are the sixth best team in the NFC.

1 Packers

2 Saints

3 49ers

4 Giants

5 Lions

6  Bears

Listen fool - Carson Palmer IS A BACKUP QB as well.

He didn't even have a job over summer since he is such a friggin dumbass and cost Bengals over 7 Games last year with his ineptness.

This Game has Bookie dirt all over it. You think Chicago gonna just lie down and lose to this crap team. I seen the Raiders in Games they won. They are a low win probability team against anyone they play.

The Bears imo were a chance to upset the Packers in the NFC. They still are. And before you contest this opinion - how many times have you been screwed by +800 teams by going for easy money.

Just be aware I pick upsets. I picked the Seahawks to beat Saints last year in the Playoffs, I picked NY Giants to knock off Packers 3 weeks ago, I even picked Rams to beat Saints over some 6 weeks ago. I been doing this for 5 years and I pick upsets.

How and Why? Because I know what teams and players are like. I have the instincts. They may not be right 20% of the time but I got 80% to ride shotgun with.

And garbage UPON YOU to all the Bears doubters. As Brian Urlacher said last year - "keep doubting us".

Yeah - I also took the +300 when Bears beat Eagles (won $2100), and I been riding their win streak on parlays and MLs. I am 7-3 on them this year.

Tebow and Bears doubters must be the ones losing to them
