So far , Its been a great NFL season!  I dont give out selections much anymore but since I'm having such a stellar season , I thought I would post 4 team selections each week and see how long I can ride out the rest of the season. So far Im 33-7 ATS actual betting on NFL games. (62-37-2)  on Covers NFL contest.

Green Bay - 9

Denver +1.5

Detroit -3.5

Cleveland -3

I like... except for the CLE.

CLE is just not covering this year with 1-3-1 ATS record.

You dislike Cleveland Bc thru 5 Games, they're 1-3-1 ATS... explain to me how that matters AT ALL in the football game??? It's a super small sample size and has absolutely NO Bearing on the game.... Sry, I'm NOT saying you're wrong, just not sure your logic makes any sense

Is one of several things I look at.  I fail to see how you can say that a stat like ATS holds absolutely NO bearing on a game.  CLE couldn't cover a spread if they were promised VIP access to a Swedish Bikini team tryout.

My thought process doesn't stop at 1-3-1... CLE just doesn't cover shit going back past the last 5 games.  They are also 3-13-1 ATS on grass in their last 17 games.  I can continue if you like...

However, that's all the backing of my logic that I care to reply with at this time.  My advice to all?  Stay away from this game as it's liable to go either way.

And just remember who played spoiler against NYG a couple weeks back.  That's right... Seattle.  AND with SEA on the road.

But sorry, masonbm... didn't mean to squash your CLE pick... I was just tossing out some feedback.

ya stats like ATS are so overated.....................its like betting on black in roulettet after 10 reds because black "is due".................every spin or game is an independent variable and will be 50/50 either way..............if clev is up late in game and seattle is driving do u think clev is gonna think     jeez we cant win we are 1-3-1 vs spread! we better lay down!    ahhhhh no

First off, let me just say this , i knew when i posted my record i would have some people who dont belive me, which is fine , but for me there is no reason to lie and for another thing im sure everyone can find something to knit pick about my selections. I dont have alot of free time to give a write ups . Of course there are many reasons why the brownies dont look good on paper, but how many games dont look good and cover?  I have been riding the Green Bay wave like most people and belive they will cover again this week. As for Detroit, Calvin J should have a great day and look for at least 2 T.D's from him, and as for Denver? How can Miami give point to anyone? LOL

Um, it doesn't quite work that way.  ATS is an invaluable stat if you know how to read into it.  Of course, if you take it for face-value like you seem to be, then it probably won't help as much.  My record ATS, while using ATS records for further insight, is in the 80% region.  So, it does indeed work.
