I understand that the Lions were on the road for 3 of 4 games and I believe they are good but looking at these last 2 games vs opponents i dont think are as good as the Bears.

The Lions were domintaed in Dallas badly!!The Lions Defense gave up 113 yds rushing and 331 passing- 444 total yds while the Lions rushed for 62 yds and passing for 240-302 total yds after the week b4 giving the Vikings (who are terrible) a 20 point lead and dominated them the first half.I am just pointing out the arent quite as rosey of a 4-0 team as they seem.If they would have played any good team the last 2 weeks, played like that they would be 2-2.

So if Dallas rushed for 132 yds I think the Bears will pound the ball on the ground as they realize what they should be doing last week.I look for Forte to have a 100 yd game as long as Martz gives him the ball 20+ and the wild card is the special teams with Hester giving them good field position.

The Bears have also had the toughest schedule to start the season in the NFL.This is also why i think their defense is a little underated at the moment I mean they have faced ATL,GB,NO also 2 of the best QBs and one great up and coming kid in Newton and Ryan aint too shabby either.

This is basically a must win for Bears or they would really fall 3 games behind GB and Det and being down in the tie breaker losing to both.Imean i just have to winder where the Lions would be right now if they faced tose 4 teams the first 4 games??I would say 2-2

In the end I think the Bears have played a tough schedule with their back against the wall will fight to the finish and make it a very close game.

Bears +6

Lions win this one, but I don't know if they can cover the 6.  Bears are average on both sides of the ball.  Lions pass rush will get to Cutler and the clock in his head will be a ticking.  Should be interesting.

the play looks good... i just hate the inconsistency of the bears.  matt forte...the same guy that rushed for 200+ last week got less than 10 carries the week before.  the d line of detroit scares me... if the o line of chicago doesnt open up some lanes for forte early and leave it on the shoulders of cutler to pass alot... who knows what will happen.  reguardless of how forte looked last week... we all know martz doesnt love running the ball.  i havent missed a bears game in over 2 years and i feel like i have a pretty good grasp on this team...with that being said... i never feel comfortable betting this team.  you never know what youre gonna get.  wouldnt put too much value in the fortes performance last week... many times last year coming off of a big game one week...he would get less thahn 15 carries the next.  im anxious to see... im a bears fan so i hope they continue to work him...but like i said... you never know witht them.  gl on your play

I have been wrong b4 and i will be wrong again but I am pretty Martz realized last week he needs to balance the ball out with the Bears offense in order to win.I mean they lose to GB by 10 and give the ball 9 times to Forte that's not gonna get it done even though Cutler passed for 302 yds!!

completely agree. Detroit should be 2-2. Without miracle wins over Minny and Dallas this line would only be three. Take the 6 and cash a winner

Dallas has a MUCH better defense than the Bears right now. I'm all about what have you done for me lately. Sure the Bears reputation is about defense, but they've actually been fairly awful this season. The Lions are much much better on both sides of the ball.

Personally, the thing I've noticed is that the Lions are generally going to have trouble with teams that have a great pass rush. While that may have concerned me facing the Bears last year, it no longer does. The Bears have been horrendous at getting to the quarterback this year, having only 4 QB hits in their last 3 games! They destroyed the Atlanta o-line, but that's also because they kind of suck at pass protection. Meanwhile the Lions o-line has been one of the best units in the game in pass protection. I see a statement game coming from the Lions here.

The wild card in this game is Hester. The Lions haven't been the best in return coverage, and Hester is the best in the game. I'm hoping for a lot of touchbacks on kickoffs and punting away from him. The Lions defense can sacrifice a few yards of field position to keep the ball out of this monster's hands.

Also went with Buffalo +3 a few days ago any thoughts??

And I know this isnt going to be a popular pick especially after looking horrible vs the Ravens but gonna take the Jets just waiting to see if it gets to 10!!

love the jets play... that patriots d isnt near as fierce as baltimore.  Must win for the jets here... tough to play a team that is as desperate as they are right now.  i dont think the jets win... but i believe they will cover the spread

I was leaning Bears as well, only because of the Lions are #1 in TO Ratio in NFL and I look for the defenses to regress.  Chi's defense to regress to a better ranking, and Det's defense to regress to a worse ranking.

We'll see.
Good luck!

I would also be interested to see if CHI tries to pound the run and if DET's front 7 can handle it with out having to load up 8... if the DLs and LBs can handle run/pass rush with traditional formations/schemes and not needing to rely on loading the box or blitz CHI will be lucky to score more then 20 points in the game and the +6 points essentially is betting that DET scores less then 25

If Detroit does NOT kick off to Devin Hester, the Lions will blow them out. He is all they have.

I can't remember when the Lions were on Monday Night TV.

The place will be rocking ! The Bears and 6 ?

NO WAY,  NOT ME < !

Good luck, but on the other side.  Looks like a lot of the NFL's dormants or doormats are starting to awaken. LIONS ez!

Please just understand one thing.  The 12th man will be a factor in this one.  And I promise you this place will be more intense then you have witnessed in a long time.  This is no joke you will be watching and saying damn that place is hype!
