Who releases their starting QB the week before the season begins? This is something you do at the start of camp...What a terrible organization!

Del Rio must have went to ownership and begged for another year. The only way he'd get it if they had a rebuild year this season. McCown is just keeping the seat warm for a few weeks for Gabbert.

The Jags actually released Leftwich as their starter the week before the 2007 season. Jags went 11-5 that year.

It's a wonder he lasted this long.  He threw the ugliest pass in the league.  Not to say he couldn't beat some teams.  The timing is odd.  If i'm a Jags player, I'm not happy.

well , the Jags is a run first offense team , they rely heavily on the running game , Garrad has been average ever since he signed his contract , this move is surprisingly , yet expected . I just never thought it's this soon  . The Jags are probably gonna start Gabbert after week 4 or 5 I think , we'll see how these rookies QB fare this season , it's gonna be fun

local still has tenn ML at +130 and +3.5 at -140. i put some on the ML but not sure if I want to lay that much juice on the spread, even with the hook. Thoughts?

Jags are really going to miss Garrard's running. I think too many people are jumping off the Jags wagon though. Titans still have new coaching, a brittle qb, and Johnson only just reported against a generally battle tested team. I'm staying away from this one, but good luck to those who do bet.
