If Vick Goes Down, Kafka Should Get the Call Ahead of Vince Young

This subject was touched on a bit by Troy Aikman, but Andy Reid needs to make that move at this point. As far as knowing the offense, Kafka is worlds ahead of Vince Young at this point..Young needs time to learn the system and I wouldn't make Young the number 2 until maybe week 4 or 5.
Andy Reid has done it again, and he found a player in Mike Kafka. Once Michael Vick is locked up with an extension, if I am a team in need of a quarterback I try to find out the availability of Kafka. Kafka has the size, knowledge, and arm strength to succeed at the NFL level and would be the best quarterback on a handful of teams in the league right now. Another steal at quarterback for Andy Reid...Having Vick, Kolb, and Kafka on the same team last year was sickening talent wise..

While I do agree generally that Kafka should be ahead of Young at this point, I think it's only because of how new Young is to the offense. With some more time, Young should definitely be qb2 come midseason.

Also, yeah Kafka looked great last night, but you have to consider that the last td drive came against a defense fielding 4 or 5 players who would make the final roster tops.

Kafka was playing against (Fans) not football players....Let Vince Young play against practice Squad players and then watch him put up XBOX type numbers....

Vince Young also played against guys that will bagging groceries, he just does not know the offense well enough yet. That is why he should be the number 3 until he gets acclimated with the offense...which I think would take another 5 weeks or so...

Watch out for Mike Kafka, the kid can play..The Eagles would be more than formidable with him under center..
