The 49ers will be one of my surprise teams of the year and I would look for them to win the west.
They've had high expectations that past couple of seasons with many pundits picking them to do well and lots of talk about how much talent they have, you'd be surprised how much better teams can perform when those expectations are removed.

Boy oh boy I've a horrible year, my worst ever, never thought I could do this bad and I hope I never do again but the one bright spot was my call of the 49ers as a surprise team this season.
I do have a 50-1 futures on the 9ers.
Using my "key stat battles" I've had a preseason surprise team in the SB past 2 seasons with the Saints winning it all. This could be 3 in a row to make the SB.
Looking ahead to next year, yea I know it's early but according to my "key stat battles" one of my preseason surprise teams next season will be the..........................Raiders who finished this season as the most undervalued team in the league.
