some interesting thoughts about Rogers from Jason Cole:

"Rodgers has played in 10 outdoor games played in December or January since taking over as Green Bay’s starter in 2008, all of which were in cold-weather spots: Rodgers has completed 209 of 330 passes for 2,857 yards, 22 touchdowns and only five interceptions. That’s a quarterback rating of 106.8 and the Packers are 8-2 in those games.

Again, that does NOT include his game Saturday night at Atlanta or his playoff game at Arizona last year."

Interesting stat, if anything it shows that the weather doesn't affect him negatively.

Well both teams are cold weather teams.I think big winds are the only thing that will affect Rodgers other than not playing well which could happend to any QB

yeah chi stadium is the water cold it's worse than the dry cold you get in cities where stadiums are not near water

PITTSBURGH use to be called 3 rivers stadium !

forking coldest hardest stadium to kick fg's in thats in the east !

thats why Minny has a dome that is theeeee coldest state in USA 48 states

i talk to people in chat rooms from all over the country just like many of you do ;when i heard in  summer in august were i was melting away in 105 degree heat they said wow it's only 60 degrees here

More importantly, the Packers scored an average of 29 points in those games. The defense has been stout as well, allowing 176 points in those 10 games.

On the other hand, the quality of the opposition leaves much to be desired. Among the teams Green Bay played in this sequence was Houston, Detroit, Seattle and San Francisco. The average for those four games was almost 34.

Chicago was the opponent 3 times. The team scored only 21, 17, and 10 points in those games.

These facts are in no way given in an attempt to destroy Rogers' ability in the cold, they are given to provide perspective and balance to the impressive numbers he has posted when faced with Arizona-type weather.

You mean the D that has givin up 26 pppg last 4 home games and most recently gave up 24 to Seattle..a team that averaged only 15pppg last 6 on the road b4 Chicago.

Seattle did score all of their points with the game on ice and the bears in the total prevent....they did nothing until it was 28-0 and on ice

Maybe the best all-around QB in the league, I guess Cold doesn't affect Superman like it does Batman (cutler) so I will take the greater superhero and the lack of cryptonite available on the market 4 the Bears to purchase ....
