that would prefer to watch football alone rather than with a group of buddies???  Moreso in the reg. season but even now in the playoffs I would much rather watch the games with no distractions esp. when there is on the line.

The only game that I like watching with a group is the Superbowl and only b/c its the Superbowl...

Kind of a random topic but just wondering if I'm the only guy that feels this way or if I'm in the majority of people here at Covers...

I prefer watching with a couple friends, not alot though.........and NO WOMEN............I had a superbowl party once and invited a bunch of cutie girls.........WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE!!!!!!........a couple of my friends are loud and obnoxious.....very annoying, I have to remind them to shut the fuck up 3 times a game

....thats the #1 reason I hate watching football with my friends particularly in the playoffs...there is always somebody on the other side.  Superbowl is ok b/c that is to be expected...

Yup, I am like that also, and also why I hate going to bars to watch games because I hate how people get overexcited after EVERY single play of the game

I hate the "friend" that knows you bet on the game and enjoy's pointing out when your team fucks up a play or looses........

yeah, much rather watch the game alone or with a very select group of friends who understand the dynamics of the game (so i don't have to explain everything), don't get overly excited after every play, and most importantly, they understand that watching the game is like watching a movie: NO FUCKING TALKING about stupid bullshit!

I am an alone guy....Only get together occasionally with buddies for a Monday Night Game.....Super Bowl is always Party Time for me.....

I usually like to watch the games with just a few people. Whoever shows up at the garage. I agree with Bruce though, no women.

Yep, I hear you.  Even worse is the "friend" that knows you bet a certain team.  He doesn't say shit the whole game, but when your team doesn't cover for you, he then says "I don't know why you bet on them, everyone knew that they would get killed".

Who is that chick in your avatar?  She is smoking hot.  Oh and I hate watching games I have cash on with friends because invariably there is always somebody who will say the above.

 For one thing, if your friend knew you had a big bet on a game.
Deep down he would be pulling for you to lose.  I guarantee it.

Interesting thread,.,

Sometimes its best to be alone because when your gambling, and I am talking about everyone reading this,,you can get emotional, you stand up, sit, pace, run, clap, scream - yell, holler - chastise -rant -rave- curse etc... I need my space,,


but if its at a vegas sportsbook its ok, you are with a hundred other people just like you so it balances out

I like watching it with my 14 year old son and maybe a friend or two at most...............Super Bowl never with a bunch of people......... drinking with friends in Vegas win or lose priceless.
