Sorry for the LATE ass picks this week! I dont even have time for my usual elaborate writeups.... Im gonna post my picks now and accompany them with small writeups but hopefully ill have time between now and the games tomorrow to complete my usual detailed writeups...
Already 1-0 on the Week, with my BIGGEST Wager of the Season on SD netting me +5-UNITS... Lets HOPE this gives us Momentum!!!
For now, heres my picks with a small explanation:
Dallas -6.5 vs Washington: I dont consider the Grossman start a HUGE difference maker, as Donovans been bad all year but Rex is a Turnover Machine so i could see it effecting the TO Ratio... Dallas has run A LOT more under JGarrett and Felix Jones/Tashard Choice are a SOLID RB Combo, I look for them to take advantage of the Skins AWFUL Rush D and pound the rock ALL DAY... Da Boys are just the better football team, playing better at the moment, and at Home... Anything UNDER a TD is a SOLID Bet! (Laying 3-Units)
Indy -4.5 vs Jax: Ive tossed and turned with this bet ALL week long! Indy burned me lastweek but I cant let that cloud my vision... No team has beaten the Colts 2 times in a Season since 2002... and that will stand after Sunday! I am worried about the backdoor cover as ive been burnt lately by it but Im confident that Peyton WILL NOT let his team Lose this game @ home and Indys D will step up and "contain" the Running Game... Indy forces Garrard to beat them and its not gonna happen... Indys Run-D steps up BIG Time and Peyton flows with his offense... If the Colts win this game, they control their own destiny, Peytons clutch, Indy gets it done.... (Laying 1-Unit)
Carolina -2.5 vs Arizona: I HATE laying points with the Panthers but Az travels accross the country with their AWFUL backup starting... Panthers defend the Pass pretty well and will force the AZ Running Attack to beat them... Carolinas JStew rushes for 150+ and helps Claussen ease into the PA Pass, as Jimmy "manages" the game behind a HUGE rushing attack... I look for Claussen to have 200 Yds passing with 1 TD, while JStew n Goodson rack up 200+ yds and control the clock... Taking Carolina as the Fav is ALWAYS Scary! (Laying 1-Unit)
New Orleans +2.5 @ Baltimore: The Ravens secondary can be spread out and picked apart... Who does that better than the Saints??? Saints have scored 30+ Pts in 5 of their last 6 Wins... Bmore will not be able to keep up... (Laying 1-Unit)
Seattle +6 vs Atlanta: TRAP game of the Week! EVERYONEs on Atl... but this is their 3rd straight Road game and Seattle is a solid Hometeam... Despite their Road loss to SF, this Seattle team is in a PERFECT Upset spot, with ATL facing NO nextweek for the NFC South Clash of the TITANS, I expect Matty Ice to falter and allow a less talented Seahawks team to stay in this game by turning the ball over... Qwest stadium will be rocking and the Seahawks will play with the Falcons... I look for Mike Williams to return and have a BIG game, Obamanus back too and could help, and Lynch will pound the rock... Seattles D will create opportunities for them to keep close... if ATL wins, its by 3... (Laying 2-Units)
Denver @ Oakland UNDER 42: Orton OUT, Tebow IN... Oakland will look to pound the rock with Run DMC ALL DAY, while Knowshon Moreno should see a MUCH increased roll with a Rookie QB Starting... I LOVED this Under before I heard about Tebow starting... AND its the Highest Consensus Picked OVER on Covers.com @ roughly 73%... Making me Love the Under even MORE! (Laying 2-Units)
