All of us have had moments where we wanted to kill ourselves.  One game broke me for 3 years in the past (Superbowl - Taking the Rams ML against NE's Billichek Spygate defense) where I had to pay my bookie in installments for 3 years... I felt I was going to literally die when Vinatieri hit that fg.  I had to work and dropped out after my 3rd year in college.  We live, we learn, we grow... I drop a bill or two on games I like... I would rarely think about dropping my balance now because you want to live for another day.  And NOTHING is guaranteed... (I can't be pissed about Spygate like Marshall Faulk, but what can you but take it as an expensive life lesson?)

I too am one of the guys that was on the other side tonight, and I'm sorry.  Last time I followed the NFL, team chemistry is just as important as the great players on your team (when it comes to success).  Bet with your knowledge and do your research.  Never play on games with teams you root for (-4k last season betting on my beloved Lakers) unless it's a future bet, where the damage is minimal but the win makes great odd payouts.  If you really like a game and your gut agrees with you, bet your winnings... but don't bet more than you can handle.

Just my two cents... take it for what you will.

I've been seeing you doing good and hitting most of your plays. I just think that maybe you were on a rush and you got in over yourself there with last night's game. Just remeber when youre doing good keep your cool. There's more games to come and now theres NBA.

Oh that is a must RULE for any bettor. NEVER EVER BET on your favorite team unless you can separate the differences between a win or a lost.

Kicking the field goal would have been retarded.  It's easy to be results oriented and say "hey, we would only be down 1 possession if we had kicked it", but getting a touchdown on 4th and goal and then adding a field goal is a lot more likely than hoping you get down the field again with no time and an inept offense.  As a gambler you should know that you have to play the odds, and the right play is to go for it on 4th and goal.  The players didn't step up and that's that.  It's one of the few things the Redskins did right last night.

I realize it sucks because you would have covered had they kicked the FG, but that's a risk you have to consider when picking underdogs is that if they are behind they are playing to win and not to cover.

Finally, it was a pretty risky bet to begin with considering their offense has been terrible all year and they replaced the play caller.  Even if it was a good bet, a loss is hardly a surprise.  If it really hurts that much to lose it, than you shouldn't have made that bet and have a gambling problem.
