Depends on the game!!
Let me ask you this: is the half point between 3 and 3.5 the same in a game where the total is at 33 as a game where the total is at 48?
My breaking point on this game was 22 cents. This is not set in stone or "right", just my own calculation as to what the half point in this game was worth.....

I keep waiting for that thread to be bumped in the pbox. The one where I said I couldnt wait to bet against him, and that he was the gift that keeps on giving.
So far, I have been dead wrong - couldnt be more wrong - and cant believe I havent been called to the carpet by one of my many stalkers waiting for me to slip up like that.
I dont think he could play bad enough for the rest of the season to even make up for their start.
Luckily, I have only bet against them three times I think, winning once (yesterday) and losing twice, and winning on them once - so somehow I avoided getting killed....
No reason to think the vikings arent one of the teams in the mix to win it all this year...

I think it's very possible they lose their first playoff game....against the Giants is my guess. But you have to admit, he's bucked all the trends (he actually layed down and took a sack yesterday as opposed to throwing it up for grabs). I'm going to be heartbroken in December or Jan., but I have to admit, it's fun to watch.
It depends on your options.
If you could have gotten -3.5 at +105 (current MB line), then you actually paid 27 cents - which would be too pricey for my taste.
If you could have only gotten -3.5 at -100 or worse, then you would have been below my threshold.
But then again - it is only my personal threshold - and what the hell do I know....
Im going to answer this honestly, even at the risk of bucking the conventional wisdom here of trying to predict the future.....
My answer is that I think if they played this game 100 times, SD would win by 4 or more about 55 of those times - and I am getting +105 which makes it about a 57% play for me.
Your rushing numbers are factored in to how I come up with my determination - but I do not get in to trying to "crystal ball" the one probabilistic outcome we will see tonight.
Like I said - I realize most like to make a writeup with how the game will go - I choose to try and calculate which lake has the most fish and throw my bait in. If I have calculated correctly, I will catch the fish more often than not in the long run.
