I feel that this is a cop out when the justice system wants to make an "example" out of someone. How many examples do we need? He's not the first celebrity/athlete to carry a gun. He was probably the first to shoot himself though. The justice system is a joke in this country because you are "guilty until proven innocent". Living in New York, you learn that you must keep the economy of the prison system going, cops, lawyers, judges, prisons, prison guards, all in the cycle must keep moving to make a profit. ![]()

people keep bringing up stallworth. yes he drove drunk and killed a man. He SHOULD have gotten more than 30 days i agree in full. However, the man he hit was a "conartist" I forgot the source, however; it was not the first time he had been hit by a car. It was strongly believed that he did this type of activity for civil cases where he would make large sums of money off innocent victims. But yes, stallworth should have gotten more time either way.
Plax had a dangerous weapon...2 yrs might be stiff, but think about it. If he is too dumb to have it registered in NY, and dumb enough to have it accidentally go off in his pants, than he sure as hell never should have had the weapon to begin with. Although, being dumb as fuck is not against the law, he still did break a law and according to that law he got a deal by pleaing guilty.
