Colts at Miami
Colts O vs. Miami D
Colts will try and run the ball but miami strength on defense is their front seven. Joey porter and Jason taylor are a little long in the tooth but they can still be effective. Miami secondary is very suspect with alot of inexperience back there. Manning will always change the calls depending on what he sees under center. The key to me is whether this secondary can hang with mannings adjustments at the line. Manning has a shot to tear this secondary up.
Miami O vs. Colts D
Miami is gonna try and run the ball with brown and williams against this suspect colts run defense with sanders. One thing that is different for the colts this year is that they beefed up the interior of their line with 300 lb plus guys who they rotate. Pennington is gonna dink and dong the ball which he does best. Expect to see the wildcat. Miami has to do three step drop plays b/c the colts edge rushers are fierce and can get to the QB.
OVERALL IT'S MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL. YES THE MIAMI SECONDARY IS SUSPECT AS WELL AS THE COLTS DEFENSE BUT WHEN IT COMES DOWN TO IT WITH THE LINE BEING AT -3 YOU GOTTA GO WITH THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FIELD. PERSONALLY I THINK MIAMI PLAYED OVER THERE HEADS LAST YEAR. EVERYTHING WENT RIGHT FOR THEM. IF THEY DON'T CREATE TURNOVERS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPPORTUNITIES THEY HAVE THEY WILL NOT WIN THIS GAME B/C THATS HOW THEY OVERACHIEVED LAST YEAR BY CREATING TURNOVERS. SO MY PICK IS MANNING ON MONDAY NITE.
