Neither of these teams did a good job of taking care of the ball last week, the Colts talent carried them to a W. Stop all the talk about no Bob Sanders, this Colts D has more than enough players to make up the difference. Colts D line has the Edge over the Miami O line. Colts secondary is stellar even without Mr Sanders, I expect them to have a pick or 2 against Pennington.
Gonzalez is a big loss for the Colts who are getting used to life without Harrison. You are still left with Reggie Wayne & Dallas Clark, and face it, Manning will get the ball to whoever is open no matter what his name is. Colts O line gets a lift with Charlie Johnson back tonight. Enjoy your 1st glimpses of Donald Brown, he will share the running duty with Addai and looked pretty good against the Jags last week.
What to expect - long methodical drives from the Indy offense. They had several of those last week, but had a turnover going into the endzone and another fumble by Addai that spoiled a drive. I also think they will have more success running the ball than Atlanta did, strictly due to the fact that the Dolphins will have a game plan more geared towards stopping the Colts passing game.
Pennington - I've always liked the guy's intelligence, but I have little respect for his arm. Unless he can loosen up this Colts secondary deep I think the Fish are in for a long night here. And I also think the Colts D will not have to load the box to stop the Miami rushing attack.
Prediction -
Colts 24 - Dolphins 13
Good luck guys.
