nice name haha. But yeah it is very rare for a public team that has about 70% of the bets to cover on Monday night.

#13 Posted: 9/21/2009 1:16:36 AM This is just like the Steelers-Bears. A good 1-0 playoff team coming into the home of an 0-1 team coming off a bad loss. Why would it be only -3??? I am riding Miami +3 HARD in this. And the UNDER. |

Perception has such a great influence on our plays....Would you feel more comfortable taking the Colts at -6 than -3? At times, I will admit so. But how can the oddsmakers make the Colts -6 when they have only two healthy, experienced WR's in Wayne and Clark? As well, they've been suspect against the run and now have to face the wildcat with White along with Williams and Brown. The Colts secondary is banged up and the Dolphins have a lot of speed with Bess and Ginn. This game is also a sellout for primetime which imo, is significant since the Miami fanbase routinely lacks support at live events. So why am I taking Indy? Peyton Manning has the ability to make rookies look like Jerry Rice.....Colts O line vs Miami D line....Addai and Brown will have room to run.....Miami LB's will have a tough time covering Clark in the same fashion as last week against Gonzales.....Indy's run D showed that they could contain the run last week against Jax.
We have two good game managers at QB with Manning and Pennington....both offenses balanced. Bottom line is that Indy's offense is better than Miami's D....both teams will get a share of visits in the redzone but Peyton will score td's against this young inexperienced secondary. |

I agree that Manning should be able to have a solid day against the young dolphins secondary but I feel like the Dolphins can run on the Colts. The colts wont be able to run on the Dolphins tomorrow. I think the game comes down to how well the Colts stop the Dolphins running game

Guys like you are the reason why the COLTS will cover. I am also on Miami but for another reason. Miami is playing SOLID defense at home and that is playing right into the COLTS weakness. The COLTS is overated if you really think they should be more than 4 points favorite on the ROAD against Miami.

Addai hasn't ran for 100 yards since week 11 of last year. And they
held Turner to 65 yards rushing and 3 yards a carry in week 1. Miami
only allowed 2 100 yard rushers last year. Larry Johnson and Willis
Mcgahee. 2 guys that run hard something that Addai doesn't tend to do unless he wants to get hurt

I appreciate the info Frank..thanks for the post. Addai hasn't had a lot of 100 yd games because he's usually running out of 3-4 receiver sets. Also, the Colts didn't have a reliable 2nd back last year so he wasn't fresh in the later part of the year. With Donald Brown taking some carries, I expect the tandem to be effective running in two tight end sets. I also expect to see a lot of pulling guards to utilize the speed to the outside. Miami does have a solid defensive interior on the front but Brown and Addai have the speed to take the rock to the outside. |

always respect your plays so it wasn't an attack or anything. But I do feel that Addai will have some success in the in the passing game. Channing Crowder overplays everything and tries to always go for big hit instead of securing the tackle. And yeah thats true about Brown. BOL tomorrow.
