I am in Atlanta and headed to the game. I see almost everyone on the board taking +6.5 or buying the hook to +7 on Carolina. I get what you guys are thinking in a bounce back play, that they aren't as bad as they showed and will show it today. But they were having trouble stopping the run and really just playing defense in the preseason. Atlanta hasn't been a fun place for them either as they lost down here 45-13 last year when they went to the playoffs. Atlanta also has the dual option of Ryan and the passing game and Turner and Norwood in the backfield. They have two very fast WR's and Tony Gonzalez underneath. I dunno but usually when the whole board is on one side it usually it loses, but I am hesitant as this is the NFL and anything can happen. Let's hear what you have to say, I am off to the shower, I have to checkout in a few minutes and head over the to Georgia Dome, seats are on the 45. Hopefully I won't have a good seat to see my money go bye bye.

typo in what I typed, the Falcons beat them 45-28, I was thinking of another year. And just a reminder I am saying I am taking the ML not the -7. I just made the comment that everyone seemed to be on the Panthers +6-+7.

i dont think carolina is 1/10th as bad as people think right now.. phillys defense handed delhollme his ass last week. and a division game is always tough

Delhomme will play much better away from home. You will see a much better running game on the carpet and Steve Smith will become a factor in the game. Look for Panthers to restore some pride. I am teasing Caroline to get them to get over 14 points.
I would NOT feel comfortable laying 6 with ATL against a team that could win outright. Just listen to the news coming out of the Panthers camp. They are rallying behind Jake.

Im in Atlanta too....too close for comfort with this pick. Atl is 1-16 ATS after a home win....How bout a much easier play....Take Oak +3. If you saw them against the Chargers, they should have no prob with KC
