on that train guys, Im telling you. You can buy a Saints NFC Championship ticket for 9-1 and a Super Bowl ticket for 18-1.
Throw a hundred-grand on those. You wager that much in a weekend anyway.

My man. How goes it?
Yes, the D is the difference (just like I stated back in August
)
As a long-time Covers member, I can always appreciate an intelligent debate/disagreement. But why all the hate on the Saints and the Saints D?? The Saints are the best team in the NFL right now-like it or not
. Now lets not be too premature, as it is only mid-season, but theyre the best all-around team.
You say "if" the Saints make Playoffs they geat beat? Hillarious! The Saints will be in the playoffs, so hard as it may be, get used to that
. You have roughly 2 months to stomach it.Theyre the best team in NFC and arguably the #1 or #2 (power ratings) team in NFL. So guess what? Like 'em or not, you'll be seeing them the rest of the year.
I said it in August, I'll say it again on October 31, there are 3 teams that could beat New Orleans for all the marbles (in the NFC): 1 by talent, 1 by character, and 1 by venue. Minny (talent), G-Men (character) and (believe it ot not) Green Bay (venue) in Lambeau. Well, sadly but not prematurely,Take the GMen off that short-list as GMen arent the GMen of yesteryear, and Saints already proved their mettle versus them as they scored on 80% of their possessions and dominated GMen for 4 quarters (if you even count "garbagetime" 4th quarter).
Minny is tough because of their front 7 and their ability to both run and pass. In Metrodome,it would be a great NFC Championship Game. In the Superdome-Saints win (fairly easily).
New Orleans has never played well in cold venues, esp with "Air Brees" so if somehow, New Orleans were to get Green Bay in Lambeau in winter, they could be beat.
And your last point was somewhat confusing,you said, "if you get there and you will be forced to play a strong defensive team at some point and that will be the end for the Saints." Uh, hello, New Orleans is the #1 Offense in the NFL. Uh, I think, we can play offense my friend, has that not already been proven through 6 games averaging 40 pts/game??
Best wishes to you, my friend, and hard as it may be-get used to the Saints.
