Everyone is saying this is a trap game and the giants have had too much rest and what not.. but after reading this..

I am going with the giants -9

I think the G-men run away with this game..........in fact,the way bulger got knocked around last week,i don't think he makes it through the game,im with you on the g-men

Anyway, Giants run away with this game. Rams are terrible on offense and agaisnt the Gmen defense, I dont see them scoring more than 7

The Hedgecock angle is a good one, not that you need it with so many more compelling reasons to pick the Giants. He is a great blocking FB who the Rams moronically let go for a horrible player that has since been cut. He is pissed. He is certainly going to level our small linebackers repeatedly and do his part to ensure the run game is dominant. I think if things get real out of hand he is going to probably get an end zone toss or carry just to rub it in...
 
And, hey, the announcers are Buck and Aikman and they are already trash talking the Rams. So you would have possibly the best announcers in the NFL talking up your pick all game, which should be a nice bonus.

With the Gmens front five eli will have all day to wait for plaxicoto get open. Jacobs will be running three yards before he gets touched and their will be plenty of holes for him and if not he ill just run them over. giants defense will have bulger eatinggrass and then who comes in ferrotte. If the Giants dont give STL a replay of game one they had against philly then they threw the game.

Frerotte is gone. It is Trent Green who backs Bulger up now. I think he is way better than Gus was but if he has to see more than a quarter of action in this game then I think we are probably going to see his career end this Sunday. He would be hit nonstop and he is just one huge hit away from being finished...
 
Bulger is fragile and so is Green and our OL cannot stop anyone let alone the Giants. I want to make money this weekend but I hope to God no one on my team (Rams) gets seriously injured. It certainly looks like it could happen.
 
Bulger is about to go through the equivalent of thirty car wrecks in one game.

I don't think the giants are just that good to be 9 point road favorites, I wouldn't risk my hard earned cash on a game like this...the giants really haven't shown how good they are yet and the Rams haven't shown just how bad they are yet...bad line to wager on for a road team that isn't such a dominant force...just another tid-bit: i'm in a king of the hill pool every week, you just need to pick the winner of the game, no spread...half the population got wiped out last week with indy and san diego....now 80% of the survivors this week picked who?? THE GIANTS...This seems to be the popular public pick this week because it just "looks so easy"....be careful...if they are ever trailing in this game your looking at 9 points to cover in a road game.

A Patriot fan that was all over the Skins too. How did that one work out? Get over it man, your team choked! Mine did too in 2001 against your team but you have to move on sometime. That SB cost me too but why keep throwing money away?
 
Everyone keeps talking about the Giants but no one is talking about just how bad the team they are about to play is. That 3-13 year last season was not a fluke.
 
If they trail at any point that means the Rams must have mustered a FG on their opening possession. Go to a Rams message board and check out the predictions. See how many people who actually follow this team week in and week out think this game will stay within single digits.

I never recommended a play on the skins ....I said play the under last thursday , you have me mixed up with someone else....NBAfan....you asked for thoughts on the game, so I gave you my thoughts, if your going to be sarcastic about anyone giving input your asking for, then don't ask for input.

I believe that the Giants defense is just going to be to much for this struggling STL squad...buldger folds under pressure and that is exactly what he is going to be under all game...My numbers have this game right at Gmen - 10, however, i look for this to be at least a 2 td victory....

giants play with too much pride not to beat these bums .....giants D line will be in Bulgers face all day
which means fumbles picks ......Bulger seems to play like he dont want to get hit anymore ...he has looked real bad for a while now

Could not agree with you more !!! Rams are given no shot in this game !! When you get your ass kicked opening week , I'm sure there will be major adjustments !! Wash is learning a new offense and it showed last week vs the Giants , but I'm not sold on this secondary . 9 points may be too much here IMO ..Good call !!

I'm not sure if the Giants will cover. Gmen have been known to be inconsistent offense with a turnover here....a turnover there. Plus who's to say that St. Louis won't make an improvement over getting thrashed by Philly.  Before the Spread came out I would have taken NY by 8. Now the spread is at 9.
