Ahh the first week of MNF.. I got my bowl packed and the nachos ready. All excited for the game that entails a herd of questions. Mostly for the packers. As everyone knows the pack has lost Brett Favre. Some think its for the best, but i think its trouble. This is the 1st game since 92' that favre isnt starting. Green Bay doesnt know anything else. They know that they have given up 444 TD's for Rodgers whopping 1 TD. Not to mention Rodgers and the Pack are playing against a viking defense who had the number 1 rushing defense last year with a stingy 74.1 yds rushing per game. That means Rodgers is going to be forced to make plays, and who honestly knows how this guys gunna do? Opening up against a division rival whom they've beat the last 4 games, smells like its trouble for the rookie.
The vikings are also faced with a questionable situation at the QB position. And they are also facing an amazing defense who gave up only 18.2 pts / game last year. "The Prodigy" A.P. has been limited to only 157 yds in 2 games last year against the pack. How long can they hold him down for. If he can reach the 100 yrd mark the Vikes will roll tonight. Tavaris can make things happen with his legs which should give the vikes a little running room.
Minnesota is 5-1 in their last 6 opening games.
Projection: Minny 26 Packers 17
The Vikes ML
GL to everyone!
