Reminds me of Brendon Shanahan coming to the Rangers from the Red Wings. He will look strange in a Jets uniform. Shanny brought game to the ice in the Garden. I expect the same from Brett. I saw him beat the Giants in that stadium 42-7, albeit a few years ago.
Another similarity is that Brett is out of the conference. Chances of meeting are remote. Tampa was on the GB schedule this year.
Even though I was spanked and sent to my room for discussing Farve's options on here many weeks ago by the Favre haters here, I will say there was nothing I said that did not come true in some form or another.
That's right, 1) he came back, 2) he discussed competing for his old job, 3) he considered and turned down "re-retirement" and 4) the Packers ended up using with the only option that made business sense (and Black and Blue Division sense), they traded #4 out of the conference.
This morning I heard a NY Post writer say the Tampa deal was Griese and 3rd Round pick. Packers turned it down. With the J-E-T-S, Jets Jets Jets, it ranges from a 4 to a 1, depending on how "Brett and the Jets perform". A first rounder means he wins the AFC, which is very, very remote.
I wish Brett luck and thanks for the memories, #4.

legacy is tarnished forever.
all this non-sense and then he ends up on the Jets.
well. it should at least make the Jets vs Patriots even more interesting.
