when I select a picture and hit "preview" nothing happens at all and the pictures are the right size.  Before it would tell you if the picture you selected is to big and a lot of times it would just fit it to the box regardless of its size, does this new setup take longer to preview avatars or should they appear immediately when u select "preview"      I tried 5 different pictures and none will appear in my box and all of them are just logo's

I have a problem with avatar too, it had many days I picked an other picture for my avatar( a shark) and it is still the old picture instead.

perhaps it is just my avatar who was not validated?? so thanks you if you could do it.

No the new process should not affect the ability to preview the avatars. May I ask what browsers you are using? I would suggest trying using a different browser.

i switched to Google Chrome and it worked instantly..

If you press F5 once you upload it it should be good for all other browsers too.
