I just recently started to get into sports betting so I'm still plenty new and starting off slowly. I was under the impression that if a team wins by 1 pt, and the spread for that team is -0.5 that it covers..does it not? Below is the wager I made last night but didn't win and I'm trying to figure out why. The only reason I can figure is the spurs half because the other 2 covered with wins. Half time score war Spurs 20 Lakers 19. I'm guessing they needed to win by 2 pts then? Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
