At SamTheManSports we use statistical information fed into
our computers to determine what the final score most likely we be for a
particular sporting event. We then compare those results with the lines that
are posted and find the biggest difference (best bets) to release to our
members. Although this is not a “perfect
science” we know that the bookmakers only have around a 5% advantage on us. We
believe that if we can get this 5% back plus some to give us around a 10% edge
on the house. With only a 10% edge we also know that a system of wagering is
just as important to maintain a consistently growing bankroll.
We recommend two types on bankroll management systems that,
used properly with discipline, will increase dramatically over time.
Method 1: Fixed Wager Method (Safest method with minimal
risk)
With the Fixed Wager Method you wager the EXACT same wager
per play that we release. We recommend this amount to be NO MORE THAN 5% of
your total bankroll. For this example we will assume that you start with a
bankroll of $2000. 5% being $100.
Starting Bankroll --$2000
Fixed Wager --$100
With the Fixed Wager Method you can take a “draw” from your
bankroll. We recommend doing this every time your bankroll doubles. SamTheMan would have increased
your bankroll 600%. This would allow you to take a $2000 “draw” 5 times.
Method 2: Wager Double Up Method (Higher Risk—Higher Return)
With the Wager Double Up Method you double your wager every
time your bankroll doubles. This means that once your $2000 bankroll doubles to
$4000, you would then increase your wager to $200. Once your bankroll then
increased to $8000, you would then increase your wager to $400, and so on. With
this method you would not take a draw, but let your investment grow and grow at
an astounding rate. The following graph shows a return on investment you would have
received since January 1st 2008 compared to the world investment
markets using the Double Up method. SamTheMan would have increased your
bankroll over 2600%, turning your original investment of $2000 to over $54,000!
