The NFL Picks season is almost here and the NFL Odds are already up for week 1. Sergio Kindle revealed recently that he's been cleared for football activities as of March, which is a good thing for the Baltimore Ravens. The team is in need of a complementary rusher to pair with Terrell Suggs, and Kindle was drafted exactly for that purpose prior to his freak injury last offseason. The NFL Odds makers have made Ravens top favorites in there division.
However, with uncertainty on whether Kindle will be able to step right in and be an effective pass-rusher after all that time off -- and zero NFL experience -- the Ravens may grab an option off of the free agent pile. Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun lists Ray Edwards, Charles Johnson, Jason Babin, Mathias Kiwanuka and Jason Taylor as the leading options.
Given the Ravens' scheme, a player with a 3-4 OLB background might make a
better fit, and the top two players in that regard in this year's market are
Matt Roth and Manny Lawson. This summer check out our MLB
