After Game 3, I felt Miami had seized control of the series. In that 1-1 scenario, 100% of teams who won Game 3 had went on to win the series. I said the series was over.
With LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, it seemed as though these guys were ready to end the bashing and have a real celebration rather than their premature July version.
They fooled me.
I have no defense for LeBron James. No one does, and no one should. The same goes for Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
I don’t want to make this a Miami Heat bashing. I’m sure the national media will take care of that. LeBron will be crucified and deservedly so.
This series turned into a celebration of all that is right with the NBA. Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, JJ Barea, Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler---the Dallas Mavericks. A team which had been called everything under the sun and a star player who had been through the same. Dallas didn’t run from their futility as James and Bosh did; rather, they embraced it and it motivated them to achieve greatness.
The heart of Dallas’ Big Twelve far outweighed the heart of Miami’s Big Three. Check the results of the fourth quarters in this series if you need further indication.
The King was crowned tonight, and his name is Dirk Nowitzki. 13 years in Dallas, through very thick and very thin, and finally reaching the mountain top.
Dwyane Wade and LeBron James were caught making fun of Dirk Nowitzki’s cold prior to Game 5. I wonder if they’ll make fun of him while he’s coughing on the NBA Finals MVP Trophy?
I’m going to go have another serving of crow now. I'm sure I'll have plenty of waiters willing to serve it to me.

WADE played fantatic the whole series....
BOSH did what he does.....
LEBRON is the donkey in the show for these Finals....
.....and then the HEAT as a unit for the FT misses and lack of confidence to pass up on many opent shots througout the series to instead dish the ball off

SJP Bosh did nothing wrong. It is all Lebron. He was nowhere to be found again. The guy just isn't what any of us thought he was.
You win as a team, and you lose as a team.
Wade, statistically, played well too.
I'm not ready to throw LeBron completely under the bus, but what the heck happened? It makes no sense. The guy was passing the ball as soon as it touched his hands tonight in the 4th.
LeBron is not Jordan, and he's far from Kobe.

I'm not even going to respond to this. Eat your crow, too.
