#1 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:11:43 PM Now first off, let me start by saying I have been reading this forum for
a lot longer than this account's life, I just never really created my
own account. I have come to this forum numerous times to read insight
and get a few smart picks, so I figured here would be my best shot to
get some help. My local recently closed shop and I, being a chronic
gambler, would like the info of another bookie. I cannot use an online
book, so please do not refer that idea. I live
in the NYC area and if anyone has a reliable book that they use, I would
greatly
appreciate the contact. I understand you aren't allowed to post
personal information like this on the forum, so if anyone would be kind
enough to give me the information of a reliable bookie, then please send
me a message. Thanks for all your help. |

#10 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:27:29 PM Are you nuts? Go to a local sports bar and ask around if you don't know anybody. Do you actually think someone is going to give you a contact even in private for a bookie? |

#20 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:46:23 PM I think the logical conclusion is if you aren't old enough to do this then don't do it. Also since when is there a 21 year old limit for books. I assume they are 18 and older. As long as you have a credit card.

#21 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:47:09 PM Talk to friends who are old enough and hang out in sports bars. Every city has bookies who congregate in these types of establishments!!! |

#23 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:51:14 PM No, but for sports bars I assume you have to be 21. I can't get an online account because of problems with my credit cards.

#24 Posted: 6/2/2010 6:53:28 PM Thanks RadarLuv for actually being helpful. If my luck doesnt work here I'll try to find a way to get a book from a sports bar somehow.

#25 Posted: 6/2/2010 7:16:30 PM bartenders at sports bars always no a bookie because people come up there to drink, watch the games, and girl about their team. ask some college/frat guys who are big into sports, too.
