If I were eligible for this competition, and I had 20 in a row, I'd have to ask my parents to remortgage their house for the $50k needed. If that bet lost and WL didn't pay up for whatever reason I'd be screwed. It says in the rules of the game that WL can decide not to pay up if they want to.

Has anyone ever received their gift from survivor for winning like 10 games or something. Dont you get a jacket or hat if you do that. Tons of people have gotten that many wins

Personally id only do 5 to 10k... whatever i could muster! Due to the reasons you all state that if they dont pay you then you aint going to be crippled for the next 10 years cause you re mortgaged your house and lost then didnt collect off WL... If you still won 9k on the 10k bet you wouldnt be that upset surely??!! you still got 9k for NOTHING!

Also if you did hedge id do it on a total points and get myself a nice gap going! sure its a 20-1 shot for a 4 point gap but if you hit it you win both ways! With all the bookies in the world you could surely find a nice gap to play with...

Posted: 4/26/2007 11:53:30 AM as stated earlier today, PICK OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!! I like Ottawa/Devils game over 5, last 4 meetings this year, 1 under 1 over and 2 pushes (at 5.0), brodeur didn't play like usual brodeur in rnd 1, 2.33 ga. Ottawa is alot more healthy now, alot better than Tampa Bay and hell, 2-2 guarantees a push and 3-2 is an empty net opportunity for someone...

I guess that is a concern if you're thinking of hedging 50K...not doubting them but hey there's always that chance.

First off, there were valid reasons the books did not pay out. The money is flowing again from what I can see. Not as fast as some would like, but flowing. And today the Housr Finance chairman said he will now put a bill to the floor of the House to have the Internet Gambling Law reversed. I suggest you call you rep in the House and Senate and continue this momentum being built. Second, everyone I speak to behind the scenes is rooting for Tuppy and the prize is in order and always has been. It's time someone wins the big one. That said I would hedge myself. Why? Simple. Anything can happen in a game. Foul out, ejection, injury, you name it. I would take 50K and lay it against the pick. I hear these guys thinking you loose you pick here on purpose and place your winning bet with a book or vice versa. lol There is no such thing. One of two things is going to happen and you cover both bases as you have both lines covered and have a certain win. I would take the sure thing but alot of people I am sure cannot come up with 50K. That is most likely the problem for many. But i am speaking for myself. I take the sure thing. I would walk with half and be very happy. How often can you place a bet and know you will win? Not often if ever.

I agree only hedging 10K - it is only a consolation, all your belief HAS to be in that 21st pick on wagerline.

it's SO HARD to get to 20 wins in a row, as we all know...I'd rake in as much easy free money as possible! I'd go 50K/50K or 40/60...10 works, but why take ten when you can get 50 ;-) (very greedy answer)

From what i can see of Wagerline, they seem to be very legit. they paid Carlos his 10k at the end of his run. Not only that, but they seem to really be rooting for the contestants to win, and thats pretty honorable. Go Tubby!!!

well, my suggestion is when Tuppy gets his $100,000 cheque, he goes to a good barber, gets cleaned up like he was on the red carpet to go to the oscars and take a picture holding that cheque and prove t all doubters that wagerline does pay.....I also think wagerline should send the 2 hot chicks to deliver him the cheque.....I know I would shave for that

if bodog are paying the 100k (??) then can't anyone on 20 just strike a deal with bodog for 50k without having to hedge? It would save the hassle of laying WITH bodog, whereby bodog cough up either way.

like the TV show, survivor, they sign a waiver that they can't devulge to anyone who won until show is done airing or they can get sued, maybe freightdog did and now tuppy are doing just that but they can't ever tell anyone (online specially) that they did make a "deal" or they have to give money back....

for all those telling tuppy to hedge....we canadian wagerline players have one more hurdle to jump if you win anything....we have to answer a time-limited skill testing math question before your win is official. Imagine hedging and you have a brain cramp and answer the question wrong...so long $100,000 and your hedge bet.
