Giants are not a cold weather teams, Manning's worst games came in cold weather this year. These conditions are Farve-like and they will cover and go over 39 or 40 total. Remember the last game in the snow? Like kids on the school yard. Farve is more motivated an a better QB than Manning. I don't see the G-Men (is that for G-string) keeping this game even close. Also, it is about time for Eli to have a hic-up type game; overdue in fact. LOL and GB and the over. Screw the weather. Low total

I looked at the weather for Sunday. Thanks A11. Winds at 37 mph, still like the over, especially if it drops to 38. Both sides, defense and offense are influenced by weather conditions. Remember, winner goes to the BIG DANCE.

As far as the game goes, I really think in my heart that the Giants will cover the 7 points and this one will be closer than the 7 point spread...I mean as bad as the giants have killed me when I bet on them, they hurt me worse when I bet against them.(I think the only Giants game I won all year was against Buffalo, and that game was nuts)...however...I've posted this in the last 2 or 3 green bay threads...
I never gave Green Bay credit for being any good and didn't think they were ever as good as their record indicated...we'll after betting against them for about 6 weeks in a row and the only game I won was vs Dallas, I made a pledge to myself that I would no longer bet against Brett Farve...and it's been fattening my wallet a lot as of late....

I expect both teams to have better rushing performances in this game; than were had on either side when they met in week 2. I don't think that 100+ yds rushing on both sides will translate to a high scoring affair, mind you . . . but I do think the running game will come to play on both sides of the ball.
This will be a different game.
But let's talk about the past. Now is as good a time as any to mention it (presuming it has yet to be mentioned). I'm talking Dolphins, and I'm talking England.
The Giants were favored by 10 pts in that game and they barely managed a victory (10-13). CERTAINLY, mud and snow are two very different animals. But adverse weather is still adverse weather, and I don't think the Giants will be able to contend w/ the conditions in this game.
It's funny, that guy Rothstein (I'm sure I'll be corrected if I got the wrong name or spelling) - the dude that fixed the world series (poor shoe-less Joe) - he said the only thing her wouldn't be on is the weather, b/c there was no way he could fix that.

It's very true the wind and snow and freezing Temps could have a positive effect. But I also think that makes teams more careful with taking care of the ball as well. = ing a long and drawn out running attack that eats clock and keeps the opposing offense off the field.
Hence my early UNDER bet I got in Vegas for 43.5 with this one. Opened @ 44.

Dude, don't really see that big of advantage because of weather. How is anyone going to play in it. It is soooo cold that it is going to be hard for either team to move. it will be close to 0 by halftime and negative by the the 4th qtr, then through in the wind chill. Weather this cold even the Packers aren't used to playing in. Also, the last I checked, the Giants aren't from Tampa Bay.
This is going to be a low scoring tight game. Unfortunately I took the over back on Sunday night (after quite a few cocktails celebrating the Giants victory) and now I will have to live with it

Everything points toward the Pack......I mean everything. I have been on the G Men the last two weeks when not many were......so I am very aware that this team isn't the same team as even 6 weeks ago........this is a very, very solid team right now......but the Pack have played so well.......with the exception of the fart they laid against the Bears a month ago.........This is a covering macine.......with an underated, fast, and agressive defense. Not to mention........a very inspired QB right now with one of the better running games in the league......wow, I can't believe that after the way they started the season in the first two months running like weenies??? But they are more balanced than any team left right now.......including the Pats, with thier defense that lets everyone put up points on them!!!
