Well well, I said it once. I'll say it again, the miami heat will win this year because stern wants them too. Take the series bet while its still early, Miami will win 2 of 3 in American airlines and close out in 6. It's a different story if it goes to 7, as you all know durant is clutch and lebron is a joke. I'm a Thunder fan, but I really don't see Stern giving them the ring, too young and too disappointing for the Eastern all stars / Miami heat. Oh well, we all know its fixed just need to be on the right side of it. HEADS UP PLAY THE HEAT GAME 4. Okc spread GAME 3. That's it, done for this season. Durant Clearly charged a few minutes earlier and should have fouled out so it is a bull shit arguement

i agree he got fouled but he wasnt enough to affect his shot i felt kevin durant kind of rushed it and just missed. the man is clutch but he cant make everything everytime.

I agree he was fouled. It was a terrible no call. 

Personally I think that if the heat do win the series that there likely will be (or at least should be) an asterisk next to it because of how impactful that terrible no call was.

let me paint an equivalent hypothetical scenario in another sport.

Lets say that the Patriots beat the Jets by 5 points in an NFL game.

However, in the third quarter the Jets scored a touchdown and converted the extra point. The only problem is that the score keeper did not do his job and failed to put it on the scoreboard. So therefore when the final whistle blows the Pats are up by 5 when in reality if the score keeper had done his job the Jets would be up by 2. In the official standings this would go as a win for the Pats and a lose for the Jets. But in my opinion there should be a asterisk in the win column for the Pats and one in the loss column for the Jets. Because that terrible job by the score keeper negated a win for the Jets.

Same thing as the terrible call last night in the NBA. Should go down as an asterisk. 

Does that help you understand the logical point I was trying to make or would you rather call me names?

It was a 50/50 call... The contact was on the body and did not the motion of his release... refs are not going to call that in the last few minutes.... and even if they did call it a foul, the odds were still well against okc.... durant still has to hit 2 freethrows, and then miami gets the last shot and then okc still has to play another 5 minutes of overtime with 5 fouls on durant

. A well reffed game for the most part... The comments in this thread are mostly ridiculous

They broke it down last night after the game, he fouled him not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 times!!!  On the same play.

I couldnt agree more, still need to make the free throws and get a stop before ot.

But, to say that wasnt a foul is a joke.

anybody who tries to suggest Durant was not clearly fouled on that play, is either (a) idiotic, or (b) trying to sell something...

there is little to no objectivity on this site, and an over-whelming abundance of stupidity...

YOU MUST OF BET OKC, BECAUSE WITH 4 MINS LEFT IN THE 4TH WHEN DURANT HAD 5 FOULS, HE CLEARLY CHARGED ON BATTIER I BELIEVE IT WAS, BUT THE REFS INSTEAD CALLED A FOUL ON SHANE BATTIER, SO DURANT REALLY SHOULD OF FOULED OUT WITH 4 MINS LEFT IN THE GAME, IT WAS CLEARLY A CHARGE IMO AND THE ANNOUNCERS SAID SO TOO IT COULD OF WENT AS A CHARGE IF THE REFS WANTED

that was a superstar no call, they did not want durant fouling out with 4 mins left, even though it was a charge, so the no call in the last seconds on james because that should of been a foul on james, was just a make up no call for the other no call imo. and in the end same thing they cancel each other out, thats how the nba refs, they are stupid as blind fuck refs. if the refs got the calls right, durant would of fouled out with 4 mins left, then he would never even of been in the game in the last few seconds

Why are people not thinking he should have been on the bench anyway...... His charge against Shane was textbook definition of a charge....... And again OKC got all the calls in the second half....,. The refs are not gonna blow te whistle in the last few minutes for some body contact that was not directly related to the shot.......  LetsGoPack you are the biggest lebron hater of all time...... The question was the foul at the end of the game.

Was his 3rd fould a foul??  probably not.  But, thats not the topic here.

The thread is about the last play of the game.  Not a charge 5 minutes prior.

Was he fouled at the end of the game???  YES

I read on here that it is a better story that LeBron never gets a ring.
Think about this, it may be true.
The perennial bridesmaid chasing it every year. Most hate the dude anyways, me included.
I think the game was a classic NBA rig. That said, it is only to keep it close and interesting. Thunder are way too much. KD is classy. Westbrook is a talent . Sefoloshin and Ibaka are great pieces. League hates Hardin but at least he stays out of a lot of trouble.

I think both were good no calls. Battier was clearly not set, he shifts right before the contact. It is beyond clear.
KD, is fouled, but not in the NBA in the last 2 minutes where the refs usually swallow their whistles.
Both Good Calls to me.
Now, some 10 others during the game.
The Biggest Fix is in Call for me is the steps out of bounds call. I played ball for 30 years and never ever, stepped out on the sideline with the ball. They never show this replay. They have no cameras there.
When Westbrook was called for this. I immediately bet the Heat in Game.

Ive said 100+ times he is the best player in the NBA and best athlete to play ever....Dont think many "haters" make those comments

Then hits him in the stomach...

Then hits his legs as he is in the air...

Not 1 of those 4 fouls are related to the shot???
